On an annual trip to area with my friend. We enjoyed our stay very much. We were pleasantly surprised with the room and the self serve breakfast options. We were not in our room much except for evenings but we enjoyed watching movies and snacking on popcorn provided by the hosts. Also enjoyed playing cards that were available. Travelers have to keep an open mind that this is an older home therefore don’t expect perfection. The home is exactly as it should be represented. Definitely stay there again if in the area for future trips. Wonderful stay!

The stay was fine, the bed was not good at all. The mattress felt like sleeping on a piece of plywood. The bed frame was rustic but very noisy with any movements and not ideal to sleep on.

We stayed at this property for the first time. We stayed for 2 nìghts in the Fall. My husband loves hisyory and antiques. Thus, we gave this inn a try. It is a beautiful historic property. Pictures on the wall tells the history of the house. Interior decorations also reflect its time in history. This inn is clean and quiet. The only thing I don't like is the squeaky beds in our room and the thinly covered top half of the window with lacey materials. The sunrise literally wakes you up.

Liked the history of the property. Enjoyed our visit as it was close to amenities and was quiet and safe. Twin bed was squeaky and the double bed was comfortable but difficult to get into as very high. ? Issues with the coffee maker as it shut off several times. We appreciated the fact that the Bistrow was pet friendly.

We had a great, quiet stay, exactly what we were looking for. I love the historical house, the room was spacious and comfortable. We ate takeout barbecue on the outdoor patio!

The room was very clean. We were unable to enjoy the breakfast as it was scheduled for 8 to 10 a.m. which later than our planned departure to get to the St. Jacob's Farmer's Market for it's opening time at 7:00 a.m. An earlier offering of the breakfast would have been better for our stay.

The room was clean and comfortable. The furnishings included information on the builder and owners. The breakfast supplies were good and included cereal, yogurt, bagels, juice and a Keurig coffee maker. W would stay again the next time in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.

Beautiful old home with great character. The only suggestion I would make is that the rooms had dust on some of the decorative objects as well as the ceiling fan blades. Very clean otherwise.

Great place to stay

Everything was wonderful, easy to get in and out. Clean room and good breakfast. The only thing I would like to see is at least 1 rack to put luggage on, 2 would be fabulous.
