Now what is shown. There is no restaurant or bar. The wall paper is peeling from the walls. The pool is closed. The whole place is located in the parking lot of a used car and mobile home lot. My feet got dirtier walking on the tile floor of the bathroom. No room cleanup, no garbage pickup. Nearest food 2 miles away. DON’T STAY HERE!!!!

Old, run down and disappointing from the room to the attached steak house restaurant. Also the listing claimed they were but 9.42 miles from Bethel Woods which was my final destination. Shocked to find they were actually 47.7 straight line and about 65 miles drive time.

Comfortable rooms, but needs attention: carpet worn in many spots, several spots on ceiling in our room, wallpaper wrinkled in room (room 233). One railing in staircase was loose, heaters/ac in staircase had frame partially torn off. Food in restaurant delicious, but need more wait staff.

Staff was very helpful as we did ask to move rooms due to adjacent room guests were smoking and smell was coming into our room very strong.

Visit to Dutchess County

Pros: The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: The condition of the hallways and the breakfast.
Location: Dutchess County Fair
We stayed at this hotel one year ago, found it by chance, were pleased with size and comfort of room and breakfast. Chose same location once again to be close to Dutchess County Fair. Arrived late, had a guaranteed reservation but desk clerk said we almost were marked as a no show and would have been charged. The room was fine but the stairway was filthy. The breakfast was a disappointment. They ran out of plates, didn't provide full silverware upon seating, I asked for water and the container they directed me to was only filled with ice. The area around the serving trays was coated with food remains. My travel companion felt ill a few hours after eating the breakfast. I hope someone at the hotel will see this review.

How to take the "quality" out of Quality Inn...

We've stayed at this facility many times before and it deteriorates with each visit. The room itself was a good size, but the housekeeping was not thorough. Soap scum was left on the soap tray, which I had to rinse myself. The bathroom is in disrepair with some baseboard missing, stains around the tub and caulking that was poorly applied. The water in the shower comes out the OPPOSITE as to what is marked, so beware you don't scald yourself! The in-room coffee is horrid and the coffee maker takes forever to brew the cup. (Fortunately, there is adequate coffee offered in the lobby.) The wifi connection is sketchy and every time you go to use your device, you have to login again. Only one of the 3 machines in the fitness room works. And security is lacking. The side doors do NOT have a pass key lock. Anyone can enter, any time of the day. The "FREE" breakfast is not a buffet and, rather, limited to only ONE choice. For all these reasons, we will not be returning to the Kingston Quality Inn.

Clean and comfortable for a good price

Pros: Cleanliness
Cons: Some things could use some updating
The room, sheets, towels were crisp and clean, the beds were comfy. There is a microwave and fridge in the room as well as shampoo, soap and lotion in the bathroom and room darkening curtains on the windows ( a must for me!). The front desk was helpful and accommodating when we requested a room change to 2 rooms that were adjoining. Free coffee for guests was great in the morning also a free breakfast voucher for the restaurant. It wasn't a huge menu but what can you expect when it's free! I have stayed in other hotels in the area at about the same price point and was pleasantly surprised. This place isn't luxury but a nice, clean, pleasant place to stay.

nice hotel/great indoor pool

Pros: the pool was large and not too cold
Cons: the pool opens to the outside/common sense dictates that there would be a lounging area there.
enjoyed the hotel.the restaurant was excellent and the indoor pool was great.
