The best family vacation experience

The quality of the property and location couldn't be better. As we have grown up children it was important not to be dependent on each other. We didn't need to sync up on our plan as this location offers a lot of flexibility when everyone has its own idea what they want to do. No need for a car as everything is within walking distance. The times of having breakfast in the luxury kitchen and enjoying coffee on the beautiful porch with tropical trees in the morning or playing board games in the family room at night will remain in our memories for a long time.Special thank you to the host for setting up the property for our arrival - I felt like Alice in Wonderland as we walked through the gate after sunset and saw the beautiful property full of lights waiting for us… not to mention a key lime pie in the refrigerator as a surprise!

Outstanding Stay

Amazing property in a perfect location. Close enough walk to prime Duvall St. while remaining a quiet tranquil retreat. Christian was a wonderful host who accommodated our early arrival time! Clean, very comfortable beds and good AC! Highly recommend this place!

Fabulous place to stay!

The stellar home is located in the perfect spot in the gated Truman Annex. It’s less than one half block from the Truman White House in a quiet neighborhood. Yet 3 blocks away is the fun of Duval Street with its vibe, bars and restaurants. Most attractions are reachable by foot. I highly recommend!

Amazing trip!

We loved The Beaming Barracuda from the moment we arrived! It was very bright and welcoming! The key lime pie waiting for us was a perfect touch. The host was in contact with us throughout our stay making sure we had everything we needed. It was over the thanksgiving holiday so it was nice of him to keep us updated in case there were any issues. Our kids loved the house too. It was in a great location, close to the marina, restaurants and shopping.

Great location

A great location to Old Town. Very nice unit with everything we needed. However, one suggestion might be to add some type of decorative shelving that groceries could be placed. There was no pantry or place for them. Highly recommend even though the prices have increased fairly substantial over the last year or two.

Absolutely wonderful

The place is stunning, clean, and beautifully decorated. The location is absolutely perfect! We loved staying here and will definitely rent again in the future. The place has everything you need for the beach including beach chairs and towels which was great. It also came stocked with toilet paper and other essentials so we barely needed to buy anything which was another huge plus! The communication from the rental company was great! They respond right away and were incredibly helpful. Overall a wonderful place to stay. If anything I’d be hesitant to give such a positive review for fear it will be all booked up next time we come down to the keys lol!

Your search is done with this perfect property!

First time to key west and location location location is what this little gem has to offer. Not only was it PERFECT for my husband and I, it was also great for my 16 year old daughter and her friend. Tastefully decorated but local artists, clean, has everything you need and a great set up. We rented bikes for the week and saw the whole island by foot, bike, golf cart (we rented for the day) and car. The provided Parking spot is a bonus! If I ever needed anything - our POC was so helpful and very quick to respond. Thank you!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location could not be better. Close enough to walk to Duval, Green Parrot, Bahama Village ... but far enough away that it is quiet and not in the bustle. Property manager and concierge are very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Loved it here!

The house was darling! The decor was so fun & island-like. Very clean & had all we needed for our stay down to laundry detergent & hand pump soap at each sink which I particularly enjoyed. Great location….secure area yet steps from all the fun! Would definitely recommend and/or stay here again.

Must Book Location

If you are going to Key West then you should be looking in the Truman Annex and this location is wonderful. The outdoor patio overlooks a beautiful tree lined street that is quiet and private at night because the gates from Duval Street are locked at 6pm. Only residents can get in or out with their key. The reserved numbered parking spot is also a plus since parking is so limited. Just remember to get a parking permit at the guard at the entrance if you check in with a vehicle. The spot could also be used to store a golf cart or a group of bikes. The condo is close to everything on Duval, Historic seaport area and Fort Zachary Beach. We drove to Higgs Beach, Smather's and to a jetski and kayak tour at the Marriott but I believe they also have a shuttle. So many restaurants, bars, and shops close by. There was also a pool down the road and across the street but it was quite small with only 5-6 loungers so get there early. we were so busy that we only went to the pool twice. The condo also has a grill on the outdoor patio which worked great if you want to cook a meal or two. The dining table is a little wobbly but that might be fixed by the next rental. The only cons are the stairs because the condo is 3 floors. The top floor has the twin beds. After eating so much, the stairs were good for exercise but just be aware. There is a bathroom on each floor which is very convenient. The washer and dryer also work great and the pull out couch was pretty comfortable too. Finally, you won't need to bring many items because the condo included beach chairs, pool/beach towels, detergent for the washer, spices, paper towels, hand soap, sponges, blankets, great bath towels and comfortable patio chairs. Everything you need. There was also a welcome key lime pie, nuts, and chocolate in the fridge upon arrival. Very happy with our decision to stay at this condo in the Truman Annex.

Perfect Keys vacation

My husband and parents had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is unbeatable- downtown Key West and within walking distance to everything, yet in a quiet and upscale private neighborhood (Truman Annex). The property backs up to Truman Park on the water, and is a 10 min walk away from the beach at Ft Zachary. It simply does not get any better in the Keys (I've visited over a half a dozen times). The house itself smells new and clean, the furnishings are new, the beds are comfortable, and the kichen is very well equipped. The property management was extremely responsive and the couple minor issues were resolved the same day. I couldn't recommend this place more and we can't wait to be back.

The perfect Key West rental!!

My husband and I love coming down to Key West to fish. This was the perfect rental property for us. In the heart of all of the action, walking distance to so much amazing things Key West has to offer. The property manager was top notch and the rental was so nice and clean.
