During check-in, their front desk asked for my credit card so they could make a copy. Not sure if fraudulent or ill-advised. Hot water runs out halfway through my shower. Breakfast spread looks nice but tastes unimpressive - do not try the coffee.

We initially checked into the second villa (821?) which had 1 king bed and 2 singe beds and it was pleasant. There were lots of mosquitoes but they provide each villa with citronella oil and mosquito spray. There was no tv in the living room and that evening they brought in a new one to be installed (but did not inform us beforehand that this was happening, they just rang the villa bell). However the next morning, one of my friends witnessed a rat crawl from underneath the fridge. Front desk was informed and they boarded up the area as they were unable to catch it. The front desk only allowed for a villa change only upon requesting it. So we packed up our things and moved next door to 831. 831 only had 2 king beds which wasn't a big deal as it was 1 couple and 2 girls travelling (however I'm sure if it was 1 couple and 2 guys travelling they would not have been happy to share a king bed). This room was definitely a lot better as it was more spacious with less mosquitoes. A few days after check out I called to ask if we could leave some luggage there for a few hours but our request was denied as they said we had checked out, but then when I asked about any luggage storage facilities they did not have any recommendations.This was a bit disappointing after the whole rat incident but policy is policy I guess. If you have thick hair you might want to bring your own hairdryer. The hairdryer in the villas are not very strong and don't seem to dry hair at all.

We had a 1 night at la mira villa as part of our wedding anniversary. The staff was very helpful,and the villa was cute completed with big private pool. I love the floating breakfast too. Will come back for sure
