This property was great for our stay on the Hilo side of the island. It was clean and well stocked. The host was great and responded to any question we had, before or after arrival. If you want to experience real Hawaii but still be close enough to some tourist eats, etc this is a great location. Close to Hilo and Pahoa but you’re definitely snuck away in a true residential space. Would book again!

Shopping during the Merrie Monarch week

The 3 bedroom rental was perfect for us three ladies and the distance from the airport to the host rental is similar to my home island of Kauai, from my house to the main town of Lihue.I would recommend my friends if they are looking for a place during the week of the Merrie Monarch festivities, they should look into this rental property listed on VRBO.

Fabulous VRBO had everything we could ask for!

Great location to allow us to get to Hilo or the volcano national park. Our family of five adults found everything to our liking and were sad to leave. One unexpected surprise; the people in the neighborhood were super friendly. You could feel the aloha spirit whether you were driving or walking.
