We had a beautiful stay! The cottage is clean, comfortable and well situated to enjoy the lake view from your muskoka chairs on the waterfront deck. Karen and Stew are excellent hosts who have anticipated their guests' every need. We appreciated all the small touches such as coffee and snacks. The kitchen is well supplied and very functional. We were cozy and warm here during a beautiful fall weekend. And there's lots to do see and do in the surrounding area. We'll be returning.

We had the most relaxing getaway from busy city life at this charming, well-maintained little cottage. Tucked away among shady trees, it offered complete privacy and a breathtaking lake view right from the deck. And the best surprise—absolutely no mosquitoes!The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We can’t recommend this peaceful lakeside retreat highly enough!

We really loved our stay here. The place itself was small and cozy, which made it feel really intimate and comfortable. The couple hosting us were so kind and welcoming, but also gave us the perfect amount of privacy—we felt right at home. Karen was so sweet to offer us some warm and toasty raspberry pastries. The location itself couldn’t have been better. The town was just a quick drive away, and the lake was super close and a dock right off the property. We got to take full advantage of our kayaks to explore the lake and the nearby locks and Fenelon falls. It honestly made our trip so relaxing and enjoyable. We’d definitely come back again!

Lake Breeze Sweet was perfect in every way! Karen and Stew couldn't have been more accommodating and delivered delicious homemade muffins on our first morning. The cabin had everything we needed and was absolutely perfect for a couple. Our host, Karen came over with freshly baked treats….awesome! We had a lovely waterfront view of Cameron Lake and we woke to the sounds of birds singing every morning. Perfect little cottage for 2!

The cottage was exactly as described and was equipped with everything you need for a few nights. Karen greeted us to show us around the property and was super kind and helpful throughout our stay. Even though we didn’t have perfect weather, we still managed to make the most of it and had a blast. I would definitely recommend this place and will hopefully be going back myself in the future. Overall great experience! It’s a nice place to stay when you want to spend the day exploring the towns and beaches nearby and then come back for a quiet evening together. The AC is great. Even though the cottage is very close to the house, they give you a lot of privacy. Karen made us a cake which was delicious. There were some issues with the hot water and wifi— but they immediately called someone and got it fixed for us. They gave us a complementary gift card for the inconvenience. They are a sweet couple that want their guests to enjoy the Kawartha Lake experience. If you’re looking for a “glamping” experience with your partner— this is wonderful!!

This was our 2nd time staying at this cottage and it was once again an overall enjoyable experience! The location is great offering a beautiful lake to swim or kayak in; nearby attractions (the Lift Locks in Fenelon Falls) to view; a beautiful trail in Fenelon Falls to walk or bike; and a great selection of restaurants to eat in with great food and great patios. The cottage itself is very clean and cozy and just enough room for two people. It offers a beautiful view from the deck which is a walk out from the living room area. It also has a dock which provides an opportunity to sit at the lake, relax, listen to music, read or go for a swim in an exceptionally clean lake. The host Karen and Stew are really wonderful people who are always available to assist with anything, while also being very respectful of their guest privacy. We have already booked for next year! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a perfect cottage experience.

Weekend in the Kawarthas

A cute little couples cottage that has been built with great attention to detail with all the right amenities and personal touches . It is on a great property with access to a nice lake. Karen and Ron are great hosts, gracious, and promptly answered all questions.
