Wonderful little hotel, clean, bright and close to the city center with out the hastle. Good size room and bathroom. The breakfast was excellent with a good assortment, both hot and cold and great fresh brewed coffee. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Good alternative

Inside of the hotel was much better than the impression you get from the outside. Nice and fresh rooms and the breakfast was very good. Easy to park just in front. Negative things: No gym available, and this day, the restaurant was closed. Wasn´t a problem for me this time, but there are no restaurants nearby, except for fast food. I usually stay at hotels in town, but they were ridiculously expensive due to a congress taking place, and price at Nova was very competitive.

Modern, very clean, excellent service

We stayed overnight at the Nova hotel in Karlstad while travelling from Oslo to Stockholm. It was an ideal place to stay overnight. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent, and the room including bathroom very clean and comfortable. The local area is okay however we went into Karlstad itself as we wanted to look around the town. It has easy access to the motorways also.

Had a blast at Nova

Very neat and tidy. Good place to get to the centre of Karlstad. Breakfast is amazing. Beware of sweets at the front desk :) :D

Clean and neat

Quite location in a residential neighborhood but too far away from the city if walking. Friendly helpful staff and new rooms. Exterior is a bit too institutional but interior is well designed

The hotel is much better than I expected for a budget roadside accommodation. Clean and comfortable rooms and best of all well sound proofed. The staff are super helpful - I had a problem with my vehicle and they went to extremes to help me find somewhere to get it repaired.

Really friendly managers. I got there relatively late and they made me some fresh sandwiches. Also, managed to put the football on for me and even helped to de-ice my car in the morning. Rooms were nice, comfy bed, good breakfast.

Trevlig och serviceinriktad personal. Bra lokala bussförbindelser i närheten, så även att läget inte var i centrum så fick en ingen känska av att läget var ocentralt. Bra gratis parkering just utanför hotelket uppskattas också.

Jättefint, fräscht och rymligt rum. Tyvärr hade vi fönster ut mot E18 och det var jättevarmt på rummet. Blev svårt att sova med fönster öppet. Men så rent o fint, jättebra frukost och även där rent, fint och personal som hade stenkoll under frukosten.
