Great vacation

Perfect location for vacation in the Rhine Valley. Easy walk to the train plus the added benefit of a train pass for the entire stay. The unit was perfect for the 2 of us. One word of caution the stairs are very steep. Not for someone with mobility issues. Christina met us at the unit and answered our questions all week. She was a very goid host and we would definitely stay there again.

Nice Location

Great location with a view of the Rhine. Boat dock right across from the apartment. Can board boats and take a cruise on the river. Restaurants in short walking distance. Apartment was very clean, well furnished and nicely decorated. Host speaks English, was very helpful and made us feel welcome. Highly recommend this property.

Charming Vacation Rental on the Rhein River

We rented this apartment in order to visit a dear friend in the area and to take in the sights. This spacious 3rd floor walkup met our needs perfectly. This unit directly faces the Rhein River and there is a great view of the river from the living room. In addition to the view, the location was ideal: five minutes by car to the nearest Rewe grocery store and a four-minute walk to the train station where, on one of our days, took the train directly into Frankfurt. Moreover, we were in the heart of historic Rheinland region with castles and wineries. We were also within easy walking distance of the Rheinkonig Hotel where we enjoyed a delicious coffee and cheesecake. The owner, who speaks fluent English, met us on our arrival and helped us check in; she was very flexible in meeting our needs. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wandern auf dem Rheinsteig

Die FeWo liegt super praktisch in der Nähe des Bahnhofs, man kann in verschiedene Rheinsteig Etappen von hier starten, zu Fuß und mit der Bahn. Die Fewo liegt direkt am Rhein, die Schlafzimmer sind von der Hauptstraße weg, sodass man ruhig schlafen kann. Alles sauber, schön, alles da was man braucht. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Lidl und Rewe fußläufig erreichbar.

Tolle Wohnung in sehr schöner Lage

Wir haben hier eine tolle Woche verbracht. Der Online Auftritt passt und die vorhandenen guten Bewertungen sind nicht übertrieben. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Großer Fernseher und gutes WLAN. Lage direkt am Rhein und nur wenige Gehminuten zum Bahnhof und auch zum Einkaufen ist es nicht weit. Die Vermieterin hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen, alles war unkompliziert. Das Auto konnten wir kostenlos in Wohnungsnähe parken und durch das kostenlose VRM Gästeticket konnten wir das Auto komplett stehen lassen. Mit dem Zug sind viele Stationen des Rheinsteigs direkt zu erreichen.

Gemütliche Wohnung mit sehr netten Vermietern

Liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung im DG, ausgerüstet mit allem, was man in einer Wohnung braucht. Dazu einen herrlichen Blick auf den Rhein und die Bahnstrecke am gegenüberliegenden Ufer - ein Muss für Fans der Binnenschifffahrt und/oder der Eisenbahn! Die Temperaturen in der Wohnung waren trotz der warmen Tage und der Lage im Dachgeschoss angenehm. Mit den sehr netten Vermietern hatten wir einen angenehmen Kontakt. Falls es uns wieder in diese Gegend verschlägt, besuchen wir dieses Quartier gern wieder.

Schöne Ferienwohnung

Die Ferienwohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, schön gestaltet und gelegen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich. In der Informationmappe sind verschiedene Ausflüge/Freizeitaktivitäten genannt. Der Bahnhof ist fußläufig zu erreichen und fährt regelmäßig in die Richtungen Koblenz und Wiesbaden.

An alles gedacht!

Weil es Weihnachten war, hatte ich vorab viele Fragen: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Christmette, wie weit das Netz der Gästekarte geht...sogar ein Raclettegerät hat Frau Heimes parat, weil wir mit dem Zug anreisen wollten. Die Wohnung, sehr schön ausgestattet, neues Bad mit Dusche, Betten bequem.Der Blick auf den Rhein ist natürlich ganz wunderschön. Die Nähe zum kleinen Bahnhof ist auch praktisch. Es war schön weihnachtlich dekoriert, sogar ein kleiner eingepflanzter Weihnachtsbaum stand in der Stube. Weihnachtsplätzchen und Glühwein nicht zu vergessen! Der Ofen räucherte am ersten Abend, es war fallender Wind. Da kann niemand was dagegen machen. Ansonsten waren wir vier überaus zufrieden und empfehlen die Wohnung sehr und gerne weiter!

Kamp Bornhofen ist eine Reise wert

Toll ausgestattet - super gelegen

Als begeisterter Wanderer habe ich vor Kurzem diese Ferienwohnung am Rheinsteig besucht und bin restlos begeistert. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war einfach super! Sie war modern, gemütlich und hatte alles, was man für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und lud dazu ein, eigene Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten, was besonders praktisch war. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung direkt am Rhein war ein absolutes Highlight. Von dort aus hatte ich einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Fluss, was meine Morgenkaffee-Rituale zu einem wahren Genuss machte. Außerdem war die Wohnung der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen auf dem Rheinsteig. Die Wanderrouten waren gut ausgeschildert und leicht zu erreichen. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie gaben mir tolle Tipps für Wanderungen und Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung. Ihre herzliche Art machte meinen Aufenthalt noch angenehmer. Alles in allem war mein Aufenthalt in dieser Ferienwohnung am Rheinsteig ein absolutes Highlight. Die Kombination aus der großartigen Ausstattung, der erstklassigen Lage am Rhein und der Möglichkeit, direkt vor der Haustür auf den Rheinsteig zu gelangen, machten meinen Urlaub unvergesslich. Ich kann diese Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen und werde definitiv wiederkommen!

Super ausgestattete Ferienwohnung in perfekter Lage

Wir haben ein verlängertes Wochenende in der sehr schönen Ferienwohnung von Familie Heimes verbracht. Die Gastgeberin war unheimlich nett und hilfsbereit und die Abwicklung des Aufenthaltes unkompliziert. Die Wohnung ist wunderbar ausgestattet (alles sehr neu und sauber) und wir konnten entspannte Tage zu dritt verbringen. Toll ist auch die Lage: Direkt am Rhein (ein paar Schritte vom Schiffsanleger), und trotzdem ruhig. Wir waren zwar mit dem Auto da, aber hätten es eigentlich gar nicht gebraucht – der Bahnhof ist vier Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, Supermarkt, Apotheke und Restaurant ebenfalls fußläufig erreichbar. Ausflüge sind wunderbar mit dem in der Miete inkludierten Touristenticket machbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Schöne Unterkunft in guter Ausgangslage

Schöne und saubere Unterkunft, die alles hatte, was wir brauchten. Uns hat nichts gefehlt, und wenn, dann hätte die nette Vermieterin bestimmt Abhilfe geschaffen. Einzig die Treppe in den zweiten Stock ist für nicht ganz fitte Personen eine Herausforderung, aber die ist dem Haus geschuldet, und der Balkon ist recht klein. Super Ausgangspunkt für Wandertouren, man ist nach kurzer Zeit mit dem Zug in Koblenz und mit der Fähre in Boppard.

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für Rheinsteigwanderung

Tolle, neu renovierte, sehr saubere Wohnung. Viel Platz für 4 erwachsene Personen. Tolle Lage mit Blick auf den Rhein, super isolierte Fenster, sehr ruhig. Nette, hilfsbereite und unaufdringliche Vermieter. Küche super ausgestattet, wir haben jeden Tag gekocht; Lebensmittelläden, aber auch diverse Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. 150 meter zum Bahnhof, mit dem kostenlosen Gästeticket konnten wir in die nächsten Orte fahren und verschiedenste Rheinsteigetappen laufen. Bei schlechtem Wetter hätten wir mit dem Ticket auch die nächsten größeren Städte errreichen können. Bücher, Spiele und Infomaterial vorhanden. WLAN super. Fantastisches Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir und unsere erwachsenen Töchter haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Dankeschön liebe Familie Heimes
