I paid cash in full for my entire stay. 1st room did not have any towels or garbage bags in the garbage can. I went to wash my hands and the sink was clogged. The coffee maker in the room was a single serve using a special coffee pad that you could only get from the hotel (I requested a full-size coffee maker when I made the reservation). After walking around the hotel room for about an hour the bottom of my white socks were brown. I requested another room. I was told that I could be transferred to another room the next day. next day I was transferred to another room. In the new room I turned on the TV and there was no channels just white static. A staff member came up and fixed the tv in 10-15min. I then had a shower. After my shower the bathtub taps didn’t completely shut off and was leaking water out of the bathtub faucet. I called the front desk and informed them that I had enough of being put in two consecutive substandard rooms and that I was checking out. I wanted a refund for the remaining nights that I had paid for. I was told that a refund could only be issued with the authorization of the manager. I was told the manager couldn’t be contacted because she was in India. I told the rep to call. I finally got the remaining days refunded. After leaving I got a email from my bank saying my credit card was charged almost $400.00 by the hotel (after I had already paid and had checked out). I returned to the front desk and got my money refunded back to my credit card.
