We had a marvelous 5 night stay with our family. The condos -- we rented two, each with three bedrooms -- were generous in size (especially as we only had 7 in our group, including 5 people ages 21-26)-- each including a lovely patio with full sized table, sofa, coffee table, and outdoor kitchen --immaculate, tastefully decorated, and like-new. The grounds were well designed, offering privacy and meandering paths as well as separate, beautifully landscaped pools with a hot tub for each small grouping of condos, ensuring additional privacy. The nearby resort did offer somewhat larger pools which would be a plus for younger children. The beach immediately adjacent to the resort towers were, not surprisingly, somewhat more populated but the promenade passing the neighboring Westin offered a long expanse of beach. These long paths and different areas of the condo neighborhood and the resort offered the kind of relaxation we sought for our vacation.
The management team was highly responsive and very pleasant. In one condo, the AC was not working when we checked in at 4 but they had it repaired within the hour. The bedding, linens, and towels were of high quality and the beds were extremely comfortable. Each room had it's own climate control which worked very well. The kitchen had the highest quality appliances and cabinetry and was well stocked with plates/cookware/utensils. The package of coffee was a lovely gift.
The location was excellent -- short drive to Safeway, town of Lahaina.
We would definitely return.
Wish list: Earlier check-in, later check-out, aluminum foil or plastic wrap, small packets of spices/sugar/tea (although note: the stores in the resort towers are well stocked with groceries). Instructions regarding trash -- while the trash/recycling was clear to us and easily accessible, our neighbors left trash bags out on the path (not the management's fault).
