This hotel by far was the worst we have ever stayed in. The staff were nasty and not helpful. The hotel itself was dirty, outdated, and an overall mess. If I could give zero stars I would have. Many people cut their vacation short because this resort was so disgusting. Many of the locals thought the hotel had closed years ago. I would not recommend this hotel under any circumstances.

This property was very rundown, outdated and dirty. I have stayed at many reports in the past. The rooms are typically outdated, but this “resort” was beyond disappointing. One couple had sever bedbug bites. They had to go to the hospital for treatment. They ended up moving to another hotel. The mosquitoes and sand fleas were crazy. We had to purchase bug repellent outside of the resort because they did not have any. We also were unable to eat at a couple of the restaurants because they were closed. I do understand this is the rainy season, but they were not prepared with staff or supplies to handle it. I was told that there were only 176 people at the resort during our stay. Money guest had to be moved to other rooms due to flooding in their room. One couple had to be moved from a garden room to an ocean view room because of flooding and the resort charge them an upgrade fee for the ocean view. Four other people that we met left four days early due to the conditions, the lack of staff and the manager’s inability to control the situation. It would have been helpful if signs were posted saying that certain restaurants were closed. The pool bar was only open one day when we were there because there was pooling water behind the bar. A suggestion would be to dry it up. There was garbage in the walkways the entire time we were there. It was the same garbage. No one had cleaned it up. Overall, this hotel/resort was a complete fail. Never stay here.

This hotel was horrible. It was very old and outdated. It looked like it seen better days back in the 90's and early 2000's. There was no nightly entertainment. The tv's barely had any channels and didn't come in clear. The glasses in the dining area were very old and cloudy looking. The pictures posted on the site were very decieving and the hotel wanted me to pay for an upgrade which wasnt much better.

The price for an inclusive is unbeatable. The food was good, usually the same buffet options with slight variations for breafast, lunch and dinner. I did not drink any alcohol so i have no opinion. The room is clean, the propety i general is clean but is rundown and shows sign of poor maintenance.

The food was good, the people were ok. Not many workers working in the restaurants. One person covering lots of people in the dining area. The rooms were clean which only gets cleaned if you ask. . Pool and beach was great. The condition of the grounds were not good it need some renovation broken cement tiles. Our room was on 3rd floors, no elevators in the back of the hotel in a wooden area with very limited lights and was not comfortable walking back there along especially at night and walking up 3 flights of cement stairs everyday was a lot. Only entertainment was one or two persons singing at night. Over all it was a decent stay and they are doing renovations.

Food options are not as advertised- restaurants closed 5 of the 7 days we were there. Housekeeping is 10.00 a day more. Beach area is nice but the property is run down and only having one restaurant and a pool grill daily is not what they advertised

The rooms were small but suited our needs just fine for a few days. The meals were terrific: tasty and bountiful. The staff were extremely kind and helpful in accommodating our needs (I was traveling with my elderly parents who needed assistance getting around the large property). I recently stayed at Jolly Beach Resort for a week, hoping for a relaxing Caribbean getaway, but it turned into a nightmare from start to finish. What was supposed to be a budget-friendly all-inclusive turned out to be anything but, thanks to a combination of poor service, hidden charges, and subpar facilities. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Right from check-in, the staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. They barely acknowledged us, and any questions we had were met with curt responses or eye rolls. It set a terrible tone for the entire trip. To make matters worse, they hit you with hidden fees left and right – things like “resort fees” that weren’t mentioned in the booking, extra charges for Wi-Fi that was advertised as free, and even surprise costs for using certain beach amenities. It felt like a scam designed to nickel-and-dime guests at every turn. The rooms were another major letdown. They don’t get cleaned daily, and there’s no proper housekeeping service at all. We had to dispose of our own garbage, trekking it down to some distant bin ourselves because no one would come to empty the trash cans. The AC didn’t work properly either; it was either blasting freezing air sporadically or not at all, leaving the room stuffy and uncomfortable in the tropical heat. And don’t get me started on the towels – we had to beg the front desk multiple times for new shower towels, as they weren’t replaced automatically and the ones provided were often damp or worn
