Lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, but she was alone and had a customer on the telephone and 3 people standing waiting to get checked in... Room was okay.. bathroom was not clean and pool was being repaired.

what a dump!

Pros: the bed
Cons: new luggage carts and a face lift on the exterior of the rooms and attend to whatever that smell was in the bathroom
The hotel staff were nice. The luggage carts all need to be replaced. It was a chore trying to maneuver. A staff member had to assist. The hall carpeting was new but the doors all needed to be painted. Our door to the room rubbed and the bathroom smelled like cat urine even though it was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was not adequate and skimpy. We woke up to no running water anywhere in the hotel. It appeared they did get it working pretty quickly. We obviously checked out after the first night. This is an independently owned Country Inn & Suites. I can't believe this hotel was given a three star rating by travelocity. I would give it a one star rating.

Old hotel close to the beach

Horrible, avoid!

Pros: Absolutely nothing except leaving as quick as I could.
Cons: Tear it down and rebuild a Hilton.
Location: Don't know, didn't stay.
Dirty rundown hotel that has paint literally slopped everywhere - doors, walls, carpet. Stinks of paint and mold. Ugly. Avoid, avoid avoid. You have been warned.

A total disaster

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Irrelevant.
Undergoing “renovation”, the state of the property is dismal – bordering on unlivable. The fourth floor, which has had some work done, had half the hallway carpet laid and half removed – a tripping and safety hazard. Repainted rooms, still smell of the paint and the mildew of neglect. After a complaint, the desk monitor reassigned us to a ground floor room, suffering from neglect: a dehumidifier was placed in front of the air conditioner, evidently to counteract the moisture imparted by the a/c. The entire room “felt” moist. A lamp had a bulb socket dislodged and laying on its side inside the shade. The entry door to the room showed signs of several different locks and splintered edges of the door and jam made security questionable. At breakfast, there were no juice cups available, food encrusted coffee cups presented as clean, dirty stainless silverware (no plastic ware, except by request, and no disposable dinnerware), no cereal/fruit bowls, several food selections out of stock, and dirty tables. The staff seemed wholly incapable of coping with the demand. The desk clerk was so harried that when I requested a replacement for an empty tissue box, he directed me to the laundry room, where he told me, “take anything you want." There was more, but space doesn't allow. Travelocity needs to make note of “under renovation” condition properties and advise potential guests so they may decide if they want the challenges.
