Perfect location for our first visit to Lake Martin

Labor Day weekend stay

beautiful lake house with great amenities. Great location and nice addition of kayak and SUP. Issue with bugs in upstairs bedroom from open window but we resolved this. Garbage cans outside were nearly filled upon arrival. Great for large group and close to highway.

The cove is set off of Lake Martin slightly so perfect for afternoon floating. And the group living spaces and outdoor porches were great for spending time together at the end of a busy summer.

The perfect lake house!

Three couples and our children stayed at the house over the 4th of July weekend, the house was perfect for us! We had three boys that loved the kayaks and paddle board and the parents loved that we were at the end of a quiet slough where we did not have to worry about boat traffic. The house had a wonderful upstairs area with 4 beds, bathroom and sitting area with TV that was perfect for the kids. The house had the best outdoor spaces of any house I have ever rented at the lake! The house was fully stocked with top of the line appliances. I would highly recommend this house for your next stay at Lake Martin!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had 5 couples and two boats, the space couldn't have been more perfect! Beautiful house in a quiet cove but a short boat ride to Chimney Rock & other popular lake hangouts! We loved the Boondocks Marina literally right around the corner! The house & outdoor space is amazing! Very modern & we'll stocked. We've stayed in many houses on different spots around Lake Martin and this house was by far our favorite! Close to Alexander City for groceries, etc. Big Fish Rentals was fantastic to work with and Heather was extremely helpful! Highly recommend this property!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What an incredibly lovely home with amazing views! The perfect setting for a group of 12 high school bffs that have been getting together for over twenty years. The house is well appointed, with plenty of space both inside and out, to hang-out and make memories. We enjoyed having breakfast and dinner out on the screened deck and watching the moon come up on the dock in the evenings. Nice calm slough for floating. Please note that there are 94 steps from the house to the dock but it is worth the trek. A golf cart would have been helpful but for the ladies with knee issues, they were able to drive their vehicle midway down the driveway to break up the journey.

The kitchen is VERY well stocked with very nice dishes and accessories and a huge island with great bar stools. The bedrooms are spacious, updated TVs, comfortable mattresses, a very clean house with nice couches and room for everyone. The porches are very spacious, and the dock is located private area with room to swim and float. We loved the house and hope to come back again soon!
