We had a wonderful stay at Sultan Corner. It’s a charming boutique hotel that is central to all of the major sites. Our room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. The breakfast was good and very filling. The food at the restaurant was delicious and was one of our favorite meals on our trip. Sister Emina was very sweet and made us feel at home. Fatih at the front desk was accommodating and amusing and had us laughing the entire time. I highly recommend this hotel .

Nice Hotel close to the Blue Mosque

View views of the Blue mosque through the room window. Check -in was nice and simple and were welcomed to a warm room on a cold day. The main desk is located in the downstairs restaurant where breakfast is also served. The room its self was clean but as expected was not highly spec'd. The bathroom was a bit disappointing with a showerhead which was not fully functional and the lighting was very poor in the bathroom. Walking distance to the hagia sophia and the blue mosque. excellent hotel due to the location.

Nice one night stay

The stay was very nice, there was a bazaar right around the corner and the Blue Mosque was at the end of the bazaar. There was a giant park outside the Blue Mosque which was very active in the beautiful open spaces with the cool evening weather. The dinner was great at the hotel but when I return I will order a breakfast not the continental breakfast. The room was clean but the toilet seat was not attached which was a little interesting. Overall the stay was very good and we plan on spending another night on the return flight.

Waking up with views of the Blue Mosque!!!!!

Great location and hotel!!!! We had view of the Blue Mosque and we were close to everything. The hotel staff was amazing and the wifi and breakfast hit the spot. The hotel is close to the water, Blue Mosque and the hop on hop off. The room was perfect. Amazing stay.

A no frills hotel.

The hotel pics are decieving. We booked this based on the pics and got a totally different room. Much smaller too. We were given rooms above the restaurant. But If you just need a room for the night then this is your place. The staff were friendly. The room was basic. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom wasnt nice at all as there was an aweful smell of sewage. Towards the end of out stay the bath was leaking. A guy came to fix it and left the bathroom looking messy. The cleaning lady was pleasant but she wasnt doing a good job of cleaning up. The bath and toilet looked like they hadnt seen bleach in a long time. I asked her a few times but it didnt look like she had cleaned it with bleach. So if you just need a room for the night then this is the place to book if you can bare the smell from the bathroom. If you are after room service and certain standard of service then dont book this place.

Close to sites, quiet area- there are a few cons

pros: The staff at this hotel are very friendly, helpful and speak many languages. The food was good. AC in room worked great. You can walk to everything. The street is safe and not a party area. cons: Remember you are close to the Blue mosque, you will hear the call for pray every morning. We did not mind this because it is short...but we did not know about the school behind the hotel that played music for every break and for students to change classes and play out back. We were on the top floor which was hot but there is AC to help cool the room. You can hear everything from other rooms...babies crying, when they bath, any loud talking. If you are a light sleeper, you will not sleep. The wi-fi is not good, it went in and out. ....if you stay here, stay in the bigger rooms on the floor below The bath room is very small, if you are short (i am 5'1''), stepping in and out of the small bathtub was a little hard, i had to be very careful because it is slippery and high. There was some black mold in the bath room. There is no mini bar, it is a small fridge to keep drinks cold.

Very central to main attractions

Nice but reasonably basic hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. Had a bad experience with the pre-paid hotel drop off. It was at 6am and we were advised that the pick up would not be late. The hotel wasn't open so we were waiting outside. At 6:05 a yellow taxi turned up and we confirmed an airport drop off. At the aiport the driver demanded 671 Turkish Lira. We were horrified not only that we has already paid 60€ for the return transport but the amount demanded. To get rid of the problem we paid another 60€. I think this was a roving taxi that just saw an opportunity and not our pre-arranged ride -they must have been late even though we were assured they would be strictly on time. Also if the hotel had been open they may have seen through the fraud. Not a happy fair well to Istanbul

Great location and amazing service!!

Absolutely wonderful hotel. The rooms were traditional and very spacious with kitchenette attached. We had the most beautiful view of the blue mosque (sultanahmet mosque). The service and staff here were beyond amazing. No words for their warmth, kindness and hospitality, were treated like family and they went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and easy. All the major attractions were within walking distance and very close by, including restaurants, shopping etc. Breakfast buffet was included as well as this hotel. Great place to stay for families as the suites accommodated our family of 4. Can't wait to go back and visit Turkey! Without a doubt stay here, you will not regret it!!

Turkish family hotel with excellent restaurant

Nice family atmosphere in hotel and restaurant, personnel is very friendly. But price for the rooms little bit too high. Rooms are located in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors without elevator, and stairs is very narrow and has high steps, actually is spiral staircase. Also, there is not plastic keys, so, all the time you have to take care about two big keys from your room, and from entrance door and heavy charm, because there is no reception desk to leave your keys. Standart rooms are small and they have no space to open your suitcases, but they have refrigerator, air conditioner and hairdryer by request. If you are ready to refuse some conveniences, but to feel in small Turkish family hotel with excellent restaurant, it is your hotel.
