The hotel is beautiful inside and the rooms are nice. However, they gave us a room on the lower level of the hotel - felt more like the basement. I did not like that. The room was right off of the street so people could easily see inside our room. It was also very noisy at nighttime. It is not in a great location as the major sites (mosques, temples, museums, shops, restaurants, etc.) are about a 20-minute car ride away. You might as well get a place in Sultanahmet at the same price per night (including breakfast) and be walking distance to the popular attractions. This is what we ended up doing. We only stayed one night at this hotel and moved to another hotel in Sultanahmet the next day. It was totally worth it to change hotels.

The property itself is excellent, but there is nothing to do in the immediate area. It gets expensive quick, taking uber or taxi all the time. You need to learn how to ride the railway system if you want to stay here.

Top choice in istanbul

Great breakfast and fast wifi with clean and comfortable beds. Seevice was best in class. Nearby mosque, museum and palace were great too. We stayed there 1 year and half ago with Gate1 and liked it. This is pir second visit and would do it agsin.
