Staying at the legend hotel made my stay at istanbul nicer. The legend hotel had perfect staffs that provided the guests with everything. The cleaning service was amazing. We would return back from our visit to find a clean room with new sheets and covers. The breakfast was very tasty. The overall service was pleasant. Staying at the legend hotel is recommended to anyone who is planing to go to istanbul.

Best thing about the hotel are staff and location.

We started with a room on the second floor. It was quite noisy and we lost a night of sleep. When we explained the problem to the day clerk , he quickly showed us two other rooms and we chose one and were happy with it. The breakfast was adequate but not interesting. The coffee, as in most hotels in Istanbul was terrible!

hotel close to blue mosque

I recently stayed at this hotel along with my friend. The hotel facilities were terrible and it was not in a good condition. once there was no hot water at all, at another point there was no water in the hotel in the morning. The breakfast was okay, not too much variety was being provided. The hotel manager or on of the workers was too impolite when i asked him to call a taxi, he rude behaviour was worth noticing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. WORST experience!

Close to everything a first time visitor

Hotel was ideally located to all popular sites and public transportation (5 minute walk). Room was basic but clean. Breakfast is average with the same served every morning - OK for a few days but we stayed 9 and if became somewhat tedious. The views from the breakfast restaurant were great. Very friendly and always helpful front desk

Very conveniently situated for sightseeing and all the staff were extremely helpful. Room and bathroom kept very clean everyday. Small buffet breakfast with good selection of foods served in the terrace room with fabulous views!

Very disappointing stay

The hotel is in a fantastic location, perfect for all the tourist musts in the area. However, for the price we paid I was appalled by the service we received. On arrival mid-afternoon, we were told there was a problem with the booking service and they had overbooked. We were given a double room with an 'extra bed'. Having paid the extra for a triple as there were 3 adults, this was completely unacceptable. The room itself was very small, the extra bed was not fit for an adult and was incredibly uncomfortable and the bathroom had a terrible drain smell. We were advised by the Manager that if we were not happy he would change our room the following day so we agreed to make do with this arrangement for one night. Unfortunately the staff the next day were completely unhelpful and could not change the room as they had overbooked again. They were aggressive and rude when we were explaining why we were unhappy and it generally changed the mood of our trip. We were made to feel like we were an inconvenience to the staff. The Manager told us he had never agreed to change our room and could not understand what our problem was. Hotels.com were great and have helped us a lot but I would not recommend anyone staying at this hotel - if you have a problem, they certainly will not help, even if it is the fault of the hotel! Spend your money better by staying elsewhere!

Hotel Legend - Clean hotel

Firstly, all hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is easy to find from airport tram stop Cemberlitas. Hotel has very nice rooftop sitting area for breakfast or any other time. Location is walking distance to all main attractions . All in all, a clean hotel with very friendly staff.

Good hotel in a good location

From the outside, this is an unprepossessing hotel. Don't be fooled. The staff at the Legend could not have been more helpful. The location is superb: close to major tourist attractions, excellent restaurants and a short walk from a tram stop.

Over all, nice stay, very good location, near to most of touristic places, and very reasonable price. i recommend highly bit old, water pipes noise in the room. Have a very nice roof top, with perfect scenery.

Less than acceptable hotel

Carpets were worn to threads, wall paper and colors very very old and outdated, shower door broken, laminate on desk peeling off, and the breakfast was poor. The staff was very helpful answering questions and arranging van to and from airport.
