Worst stay ever

Staff are hard to communicate with, had mosquitos in my room and asked the receptionist to get me a different room but no help , so i ended up chasing bugs instead of moving to another room , breakfast was ok .

In general it was good. Location is perfect, everything is close and in walking distance. Bathroom, towels and linen was clean, but table, floor and all surfaces was dusty.

Location near the tramway is a big plus, safe deposit box in the room is useful. My 2nd floor single room with double bed size overlooking the sea view made my stay relaxing. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choices. Relatively safe area. Key-less room door entry, no shampoo or conditioner in the bath, only soap. One electric outlet plug for you to charge your phone or electric device. It would be helpful to have a point of KIBLA direction in the room. The room is a little outdated but the price is excellent. They need to renew their bed sheets, blankets and their towels are very old. By the way the location is wrong on Google maps. The correct location is across the street from the backdoor of the double Tree Hotel across from the Lalali tramway station. If you use a Taxi let them drop you at the back door of the Double Tree by Hilton you will be at the front door of the Benler Hotel.

The hotel was very greasy and dirty the pillows were very uncomfortable the management bad also hotel.com has taken on 11-10-21 £9.58p reference number 154699822 I don’t know why as fees and service what is charge for?

Adequate base

Good location for the tram links. Can be noisy if your room is on the front. Clean but basic. Cardboard cups for Coffee & tea nothing was replenished during our 4 day stay. Receptionist not very helpful when we struggled to pair HES code with Istanbul travel card. Breakfast is adequate and better than other Istanbul hotels we have stayed in. Overall basic but adequate hotel if you just need a base while exploring Istanbul.
