We had great service from the staff. They arranged a 4am airport taxi for us, and walked us to the taxi with an umbrella, as it was pouring rain. The area was quieter than some other parts of Istanbul, which was a welcome reprieve.

The hotel is located only about six minutes walking distance to Sultanahmet Square. It has a wonderful breakfast buffet which is included in the room rate. The variety of the offerings was pleasantly surprising and super tasty. Also you can enjoy your breakfast on the terrace with the views of Sultanahmet Mosque on one side and Bosphorus on the other. The reception personnel was very helpful with our questions. The hotel is about 10 mins walking distance to the tram line through which you can reach to Eminonu (where spice bazaar / Egyptian Bazaar is) and Sirkeci district from which one can transfer to the ferry lines. Also the hotel is about 20 mins walking distance to the Grand Bazaar. When considering the price/value proposition, proximity to the attractions, well over average breakfast offering and to die for view of the terrace make this hotel a no brainer choice for us.

In the heart of the best part of Istanbul, the Sultanahmet. All the tourist attractions, restaurants and markets are in this area. All walking distance and we never once needed public transport. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A good bargain price hotel.

The hotel is in a very convenient location to Sophia Hagia/ Blue Mosque; we walked almost everywhere and occasionally took the tram to get to other places. The hotel itself seems older, but the staff we met at the front desk—Cafer, Beshir, Atam (not sure if I spelled their names correctly) were so friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was very nice with lots of healthy options. We loved our time in Istanbul!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and delicious. Dilya , the cook, was always around if the client needed something. Very dirty un clean unkept hotel. The beds were terrible the pillows were so old smelly and the bed sheets with pillows were dirty as though somebody had slept in them all year and not been washed as smelt so badly. Flies, mosquitoes everywhere. Very little facilities no lobby breakfast very poor and flies all around the area of food and tables. Horrible experience would never re book that hotel. It’s definitely not a 3 star in fact it doesn’t deserve any rating that is how poor the hotel was. Carpets all worn out ready for someone to trip and fall. Very hazardous.
