Perfect family getaway!

Loved everything about the house. Perfect layout for a large family, especially with multiple generations. Great location. Super friendly staff.

Perfect size for a large family with young children and grandchildren. Between the beach and the backyard, there was plenty to do with the kids

2020 Atlantic Breezes Vacation

Our family was all together for the first time in three years and we enjoyed the week together. The home was perfect for our group and all agreed that we should return.

Family time

We loved this property. It was large enough for eight of us. The kitchen was well equipped, which is something I appreciate. We especially loved the porches and the pool. I would highly recommend this house.

Five bedrooms with comfy feel

Large home on Isle of Palms across the street from the ocean but the pool made up for it. Rented by 64 yo with multiple family groups spending part of two weeks with us, from our parents to our three kids and their 2-3 kiddos each. A little crazy but great fun!

Great Family Retreat

In town for a wedding and decided to stay through Christmas for a change of scenery as we just lost our father. It was the perfect escape as the location was right between family living in Mt Pleasant and downtown Charleston where we like to shop and dine! While it was too cold for tanning and a beach day, it was still worthwhile to walk the beach for exercise and fresh air. Super close to get direct beach access across the street. Having a grocery store nearby was also a plus! I would love to come back again when warmer and take advantage of its location! My only complain is I wish it had more towels provided.

LOVED this house!

Large, comfortable home and very clean. The pool area was delightful...as was the porch. Well-appointed. The elevator was a welcome relief for loading/unloading as well as some of our senior "bones." Plenty of parking and location very central to IOP. The only complaint I heard (out of 6 of us) was one of the lower bunk beds had some sort of rod running thru the middle and was uncomfortable. We will DEFINITELY stay here again.

Wedding Week

What a great home...One of the cleanest homes we have ever rented through VRBO...Linens were spotless and the kitchen had more than anything we needed and the pots, pan, dishes were clean...no chips...overall above 5 stars...staying here for the week during our sons wedding helped to keep my stress level in check:)...we would rent again....and the staff we dealt with were professional, helpful and so nice and trustworthy....a huge benefit to the owner.

Home was great.

We stayed at Atlantic Breezes the third week of September and it was fantastic. We have vacationed at the Isle of Palms for the last 12 years but have always stayed on the south side of the island. Atlantic Breezes was a perfect place to stay, with the pool and the ocean nearby. The home met all our needs and had a comfortable feel about it. The home owner contacted us and let us know we could get with him with any problems. The week was very enjoyable with good food and great companionship with our family, especially our three year old grandson.

Perfect for a family stay

This house was just right for our family with young children. The house is spacious, comfortable and perfect location for beach access. The pool and swing set was a real plus. There were plenty of towels including beach towels for everyone. Plenty of kitchen items for cooking. There was no Keurig even though we were told there was one. There was one issue with the temperature of the second floor that we reported and a maintenance person came on site to fix. It would’ve been helpful to have more detailed instructions on how to check the pilot for the fireplaces, and to make it clearer that the grill does not need a tank.

Amazing home!

I searched for the longest time to find a home to accommodate my extended family including my wheelchair bound mother-in-law for a family get together. I was so excited to see this listing! There was plenty of room for the 7 of us to spread out The separate living rooms were great for our nephew watching his shows downstairs while others watched their shows upstairs and played games. The kitchen was well stocked and large enough for several of us to cook at the same time. Even though we stayed in January, the weather was still nice enough to enjoy walks on the beach right across the street!!

Wonderful Location near beach and restaurants.

We had a great stay here. Beautiful location in a friendly, safe area. Across the street from beach and easy walk to beach. Close to groceries and restaurants. House is very roomy. We had 14 people and plenty of room. Loved the setup of primary bedroom on the same floor as kitchen and main living room. Covered parking areas were really nice.Main things that were not up to par were hot water which easily ran out with large group. There was a musty smell in the kitchen and laundry area that improved with opening windows and wasn’t as prominent later in the week. The TVs were smaller for the sizes of rooms.Nice back yard with pool which isn’t heated in March, but we enjoyed sitting on the deck.Overall, we had a positive experience and would stay here again.

Christmas in Isle of Palms

The house was clean and comfortable, plenty of room for 7 adults. We really enjoyed our stay, and the proximity to the beach (across the street, just as advertised) and downtown Charleston. Coming from Seattle, we were hoping to be able to walk on the beach or use the rental bikes, but the storm system going through the country kept if at or below freezing for most of the week. It would have been nice to have the gas fireplace in working order but we couldn't get to stay on for more than a couple minutes at a time, and we weren't able to get a call back from the Property Manager. No big deal, we had a lovely time at the house ,and out and about in Charleston and around Isle of Palms.

Wonderful house and great location!

We had the best of everything at this house - the upper deck where we spent our evenings and watched the fireworks, close and convenient beach access right across the street, the pool to cool off in and Charleston just a short drive away. There were fourteen of us (with 8 kids ranging in age from 10 to 18) and plenty of room for all. The bunk room was great for the kids and in the evenings they had their own area downstairs in the den to hang out. Having three families staying together, it was nice having three master bedrooms. The kitchen was wonderfully appointed with everything we needed. The elevator was a great addition when moving in and out and also bringing in groceries. Everything was clean and bright and comfortable. We will definately be renting this house again!

Great location

This was a beautiful place with nice accommodations for our family, there were a few maintenance issues that we notified the management about, there are fire ant hills by the swing set that did not get taken care of and the pool maintenance person came and serviced the pool at a very bad time, it was so windy at the beach and we couldn’t use the pool. If we would have known the day he was coming we would have planned an outing. The garage had a horrible smell most of the week and the garage closet had maggots coming from underneath the door. The maggots crawled into our shoes that were by the door. It took two days to get attention to it

IOP vacation 2023

Overall the house was great-plenty of space for a big family, good location, AC and appliances were in good working condition, etc. There were more “start-up” supplies than expected (ie only had to use 1 or 2 rolls of TP and none of the dishwasher pods we brought). We did need more paper towels and washer pods. There were plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans, etc The pool area was very nice and the propane grill was clean and worked well. There was not a standard size crib as expected from the description, so this caused an issue the first night. But the realty company provided one by the next morning. There was a pack and play and a nice size play yard similar to a pack and play, which was very nice but not in the description. It would have been nice to know that there were 2 other walk-in closets-one in the bunk room and in one of the Queen bedrooms. We loved having the 13 beach towels provided! And there were plenty of personal towel sets for our big crowd! We also loved how much space there was in the main living area and on the porches, as we had very active children plus visits from my sister’s family and her grands who were staying a few blocks away. One of the best things was the elevator, especially on move-in and move-out days and when getting the 2 infants up and down in their car seats! It was great having the $250 vayk gear money to use for our beach supplies! We would definitely consider staying in this house again!

Perfect Wedding Trip

The house was perfect for us. Roomy bedrooms and bathrooms with a large living area on the second floor with a balcony all the way across the front. Kitchen had everything we needed and was open to the living area. The pool area is very nice also. I have three adult children with spouses and there was plenty of space. We would stay here again!
