The beds were comfortable. The telephone did not work. We reported it to the front desk. The restaurant closed before the posted hours, so we could not order food. Upon check in, we were told the water would be turned off at 9am the next morning. We had a nonrefundable booking, and the roads were icing over, so we stayed.

The airport shuttle was suppose to run until 11PM, it did not. I arrived at 10:30PM from my flight and had to pay $30 for a Lyft. Other than false advertising, I did call before hand to confirm they had the shuttle running, the hotel was very clean, bed was comfortable, beds had two levels of softness for the pillows. No foul smells, which is hard to find in hotels. Being a solo female traveler, I felt very safe.

I actually expected a little bit more from this hotel. It seems to need some updates and more attention paid to cleaning and removing bug carcasses.

Pros: Free Internet
The hotel staff are friendly and very accomodating. I would recommend more people on duty overnight when housing large groups. The housekeeping staff greeted me kindly each time we came into contact, which is a plus. The front-desk worked with us to make sure that all of our needs were met and the shuttle drivers were very kind. My complaints are not at all directed toward the staff but more toward the need for overall renovation. The elevators seem old and out of date, the floors near the pool seem to capture moisture and were often slippery in the afternoon, the carpeting within the rooms need to be replaced (there is just so much that a vacuum can accomplish. The rooms and the hotel simply need and overall update.

Professional Staff and Great Service.

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: no free breakfast
This hotel was a good experience. The door to the room was not a tight fit but other than that it was clean and comfortable. The hotel bar/night club had excellent food and service as well. Alabama street layout takes a little getting used to for this Texas boy but you get used to it.

This hotel has evidently been updated fairly recently (or at least since the 2006 reviews). The rooms are nice now, with comfy beds and several choices of pillow types. The lounge (Hoppers) is a fun place to hang out and meet friends - and all the better since it's one of the only non-smoking bars/clubs in Huntsville. The pool is an indoor/outdoor combo, although the indoor portion is rather small. You can swim through a doorway to the outdoor portion when it is open.

hot water

the elevators are trashy and the rooms needs an update.No cold water in the sink and the ac is too loud.
