House was very conveniently located 10 minutes driving from the Hunter mountain. House is on the steep slope so if it does snow, unless you have a Awd you probably will not be able to get on the driveway, which wasn’t an issue for us thank God we had all wheel drive. House was clean and the notes were posted on throughout the house of what to do and what not to do “Barbara rules”.
Apparently the house is on septic and well water and the day of us arriving the owner texted and said that one person can take a shower at a time the next person would have to wait 15 minutes for the water to replenish otherwise you will get brown water. If I knew this information before I probably would’ve booked a different house because having six people in the house makes it very difficult for them all to shower and get out in time for dinner, just an inconvenience that I would avoid next time. please make sure to read the rules that Barbara has on this property in detail as i must have missed that . I’ve stayed in many properties before and this is the first time there was a whole book of rules :-).
What really annoyed me is her texting me on February 7, we checked out on January 21, she text me with a picture of a broken outside fireplace saying this was not a toy to play with. Kids played in the frnt.None of the adults or kids went anywhere near this fireplace and I do not appreciate this text being sent 18 days after we checkout accusing us of moving the bricks from the outside fireplace.
