When we arrived, the host informed us that the suite we paid for was now unavailable. Instead offered two separate King rooms. We soon realized this wasn’t a hotel property, but a hotel converting to apartments, so there was also some awkwardness with the arrangements. We entered the rooms and found them to be rundown, filthy (stained sheets, stains on couch, spills on the floors and stuff on the walls), and didn’t have enough towels for our party, nor enough TP or Kleenex. Then, they tried to tell us our reservation had us checking out Thursday, instead of Friday. House cleaning woke up our kids and I had to show the attendant my reservation again to “prove” we weren’t due to leave until Friday. One of the worst hotel stays in a long time.

Nice place. It was a bit noisy in the room because of plumbing and then I could hear a lot from the volleyball/basketball court outside. Parking not particularly convenient for all buildings. Room was big and clean. Bed was very soft. Breakfast was pretty nice.

Travelocity and sonesta fail

One of the reasons why we book with a hotel is if breakfast is part of the price and what kind. We read through the details and saw full breakfast and since we were paying well over $200 a night with taxes and fees, a real breakfast...not just muffins and juice ...had to be part of the deal. The full breakfast is not being provided as Sonesta was undergoing renovations...another thing neither Sonesta nor travelocity did not disclose. So thankfully, both Sonesta and Travelocity refunded our money.

Excellent place for work and family

Pros: staff and cleanliness of everything
Location: Nasa, kemah Boardwalk, Golf, Movies shopping oullets
found this close to many places of interest including Nasa, bay area mall, many restaurants. the room was clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and always accommodating. Internet connection was good. Basketball court was a plus, Breakfast was good. Eggs, frenchtoast, waffles, fruit and lots more.I will stay here next time as well.

Roomy, clean, right price, and great location

Just as the title reads, our stay was great. The staff was helpful and very accommodating. We stayed in a two bedroom with a fold out couch. The room was spacious and the continental breakfast had many selections and the dining area was kept clean throughout the morning rush.
