Nice, but it had it's frustrations to say the least
Let me start off by saying that we really did like our stay in the Houston Charmer. It's very spacious, beautifully decorated, conveniently located to all the things, and extremely comfortable. I also have nothing but amazing things to say about the property manager, Suzanne and the maintenance guys that showed up to try and fix our problems.
However, I just don't think this house was quite ready to be rented out. From the moment we arrived, it just seemed like we kept running into problem after problem. Most of them were minor but after so many the small problems became big. Again, the property manager, Suzanne, was wonderful. She was available 24/7 and tried her best to fix any issue that came up. Speaking of issues....here's a list of all the things that made our stay frustrating.
Ceiling fans did not work, Refrigerator could not make ice or dispense water, Oven did not work, Keurig broken and could not make coffee, Not enough kitchen ware (pots, pans, baking ware, mixing bowls, etc...) No curtains in living room and could see everything happening in the unit across the way. Creepy to see this especially at night, Only one hair dryer for 3 bathrooms on 3 different levels, No hooks to hang towels on in any of the bathrooms, Weeds too tall by street parking. Made it difficult to get in and out of car parked on the street, and sugar ants on the kitchen counters.
Would not recommend staying here until all the things mentioned above are fixed.
