Greatest part was the location

Dirty floor in the rooms. We had to keep our shoes on. Great location. Worn mattress in the center. We were supposed to have 2 king rooms and a double; we were only given one king room.

Liked: not much; although the room was clean, our bed was a complete HAMMOCK! my husband ended up trying to sleep sitting up in the one chair while I tried to keep from drowning in the bed. 2nd: the "resort" facilities were a joke! the "beach" was 6 feet of sand between parking lot and boat dock. Bathtub stopper broken, patio door broken. When I complained to management, they quipped:"well thanks for telling us!" no refund or offer to change rooms! Unfortunately we'd already unpacked and didn't realize the bed was a HAMMOCK until we got into the bed! too late to change hotels :( I was really looking forward to walking on a beach... What a disappointment!

I love going there to fish off the fishing dock. To many people coming in there that are not staying there in hotel fishing the dock or guests of hotel having a party out there with people that should not be there. I stay at this hotel a few times a year for few days at a time. Only issue I have is monitoring the dock. We are there to relax and pay our hard earned money for it. It should not be disturbed by people that should not be there.

Wonderful location, pleasant staff. Yes, they are attempting to update, but have a long way to go. The noise from slamming fire doors should be addressed immediately, as should the room doors. Paint in the stairwells would help. The facility has possibilities but I won't stay here again.

Guest Services manager was really nice but…. Hotel is outdated and dirty for almost 400 a night i should not see stains all over carpet and hair in shower and on the sink, light switches were filthy, paint chipping off walls, and the chair in the room was broke.
