first of all, I was not aware that the property was undergoing a total renovation. when we arrived, our TV was not connected. Our room was never cleaned, we had to call down for clean towels to be brought to our room. on the second night of our stay, when I got ready to take a shower there was no water to our room. there was a pipe broken. I went to bed without a shower, and I have no idea when the water was turned back on. this was the worst stay at a Hilton I've ever experienced.

The property was under a total renovation and construction. 9 th floor rooms were only available. I woke up to noise , no water so I couldn’t shower or brush my teeth and everyone who complained before me were compensated a free room or full refund. I was only offered 10,000 Hilton reward points because I got my room through Expedia. I was treated as if my business staying there was less than anyone else. I deserved the same compensation for my room as everyone else and was told I would be and never got a call or compensation from front desk named Lindsey. If a fire happened on 9 floor that day the fire sprinklers would not have worked and that should be against the law and reported. They still have time to compensate me in full for a free stay or at least 300000 reward points to my Hilton honors rewards for Tracen Lawson stay 02/02/25 to 02/03/25. That’s the decent and respectful thing to do for all who stayed and woke up unable to shower or brush teeth for the rest of our stay we paid for services but it was not rendered.

We were unaware that the hotel was under major construction and it was pretty rough for the price. We also were sent to a room on the 3rd floor first and it smelled like smoke horribly, they did give us a new room, but the TV didn't work and it was really cold because there was no carpets anywhere on the hotel itself. They were doing the normal amenities but they were not the quality we are used too.

Bad convention 2025

My son and I were there for state beta convention and we were very disappointed. The room smelled bad. There was no linens for the hideaway bed. They don't have plastic shower liners so water ended up everywhere. Breakfast was good but the man in the restaurant was rude and yelled at our beta students when they were trying to help clean up their tables.

I was quite surprised upon arriving at the hotel to find that there was significant construction taking place inside. There had been no prior notification about this, which caught me off guard. Secondly, the room I had reserved was unavailable, and I was given a room with double beds instead of a queen bed as initially booked. Again, there was no prior notice about this change. While I was offered a same-day coupon for one appetizer (worth approximately $20) at the hotel restaurant as compensation, I am unsure about the price difference between the rooms. Upon entering the assigned room, I found it to be in extremely poor condition, with old furniture, dirty floors, and an unclean bathroom. Due to these issues, I requested to cancel the second night of my stay and receive a refund, but I was informed that this was not possible since the reservation was made through Expedia. During my stay, I repeatedly encountered cockroaches in the bathroom, which I had to deal with myself. This made the stay even more unpleasant. Lastly, upon checking out, I requested a receipt but was told it could not be provided as the booking was made through Expedia.

We had a wonderful experience. The room was so spacious and clean!!! Wish we could have stayed longer. After staying here for one night then moving on to Memphis for two, thought we would have the same experience by booking the Doubletree by Hilton near Beale St however that was not the case. We will definitely look for Embassy Suites by Hilton for our next trip!!

Condition of the property was shabby. It is going through a complete renovation, but looked like the renovation should have been done 5 years ago. This property was NOT up to Embassy Suites Standards .

The bed was load and they was working on the floor and it was so load and I couldn’t rest because sat it was so load with ppl working on there floor
