First, the reservation system was down when we arrived, so we waited 90 minutes in the lobby to check in. Second, our room was a smoking room and reeked of smoke and had cigarette burns in the carpet and drapes. My wife had to buy air freshener at Walmart to spray in the room. The hotel was full so they couldn’t give us another room. Third, there was black mold in the shower. Fourth, every table in the breakfast area was full of dirty plates, cups and utensils. Fifth, my wife killed a wasp on the floor next to our breakfast table. And sixth, I’ve never seen a staff so whipped by their jobs and not wanting to be here. I asked the cook at the omelette station for an omelette and the look he gave me made me just walk away and go through the buffet. Unbelievable experience for an Embassy Suites.

I love the spa treatments my husband and I try visiting once a year. The hotel is always clean, friendly staff, the best breakfast and wait staff ever. However the beds may need to be updated because sleeping was very difficult . The bed was uncomfortable hard there was no support it felt like you would sink into the bed whenever you laid down.

Not a pleasant trip
We got a king room with a pull out couch bed and when we pulled out the couch bed there was old bedding left on the bed. We had to call for new bedding to be brought up to us. Then, the water pressure was so weak and there was no hot water. When we called the front desk about that, the maintenance man came 4 times and it still wasn’t fixed until 11pm our last night (we were there for 2 nights). Not sure how the cleaning ladies didn’t realize there was no hot water when cleaning the shower, except not sure when the last cleaning was because the shower was dirty

This is an older hotel in need of attention. Our room had stains on the carpet and shower curtain. Kitchenette sink has a faucet in need of repair and a slow drain. Bathroom has damage to the baseboard level tile. In terms of cleanliness, the shower curtain had a nasty mildew smell, there was soap residue on the soap tray in the shower. We had booked a room for four people and only 3 towels were provided. We were turned away for service at the hotel restaurant because the kitchen was "backed up." There is very little parking on the hotel property. They charge you $10 a day for parking regardless, and you have to tell them to take it off your bill at checkout if you had to park elsewhere and walk, which we did. I would not stay here again.

The check in person was friendly. The first room they sent us to was not clean at all. Beds still not made. The 2nd room was ok but drain in bath would not go down. We went to eat at the bar and they acted like they wished we weren’t there. At breakfast we had the same experience.

Nice but a little lacking
Our safe batteries were low and as asked to be replaced so we could use. They did not replace as requested . No blanket in room and none provided after being requested, Food cold on breakfast buffet but omelets were good. Treated highly as long as you only expected what they chose to give you.

Decent stay
The stay was fine and beds were comfortable but the room was pretty gross. Carpet was so gross I felt I had to keep my shoes on and I am one to go barefoot outside with no problems.
