1850 Square foot recently remodeled modern cabin with modern & rustic design influences. Featuring 3 oversized Bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, located in the heart of the Chamberlands HOA community in the town of Homewood. The Cabin has a new hot tub, wood fireplace insert, new chief's kitchen with stainless steel appliances, cherry hardwood floors, Kolher bathroom fixtures, and new furniture. The 1/3 acre lot opens up to 75 acres of private protected federal forest that creates an amazing outdoor experience for the avid hiker or family with kids who want to play in the woods. The forest features a private path to the Chambers Landing Beach which can be access directly behind the home.

Chamberlands is one of the most premier subdivisions at Lake Tahoe. It offers a private beach staffed by the Chambers Lifeguard Team. Transportation is made easy by catching a ride on the blue Chambers bus which picks up all residents outside their cabins for a ride to and from the beach every 1/2 hour. The beach also has a historic bar and pier, lake view restaurant and a causal grill.

West Shore Estate cabin
Tahoe is a special place and this cabin was great for a group of friends enjoying a long weekend. With a little maintenance, this place would have received 5 stars. The carpeted areas are heavily stained, a lampshade was missing in one of the upstairs bedrooms, the drawers in the downstairs bedroom wouldn't open, the front of the cabin has some damage, some bushes in the front yard need to be trimmed so one of the walkways is more accessible. For the price, this place should have had all of those issues corrected and be 100% perfect.

Great house!!!
Great house and a nice location. A couple of little things that would make this house 5 stars: - new couch…the current couch is a bit uncomfortable. - there is a lack of some cooking “basics” in the kitchen (no seasoning or even salt and pepper, no cooking oil, no aluminum foil or plastic Wrap). Everything else was great and all appliances and other cooking equipment was top-notch. - We have kids, the house has private beach access on the house pass for Chambers however our kids did not have access to the chambers pool. Not sure if there is a way to get that added… Every house that we’ve stayed at in Chambers has always had pool access. Maybe this is a new thing that Chambers is doing?

Good location, Tahoe cabin experience
The location is great. The yard is nice for kids to explore. Can walk to chambers landing. Access to chambers was a plus! It’s a classic Tahoe cabin experience - will meet your cabin needs. Clean and convenient. Some minuses were no screens on the windows making upstairs sleep uncomfortable on the warm weekend we stayed- we couldn’t open the windows due to bugs. The kitchen supplies are sufficient but basic- bring disposable plates and cups as provided supply is limited.

Fantastic Location - Cabin Needs Improvement
The location of this cabin is fantastic and we had a great time exploring the area. We sought out a pet friendly vacation rental (but never left our pet alone in the cabin) so we were not expecting high end accommodations, but there were a few things that should have been addressed prior to guests arriving. First, when we attempted to enter the cabin the door handle fell off – it was literally hanging on the door and not secured. The property owner was responsive and provided a work around to enter through another door but not a good way to set the tone for our stay. Second, the BBQ was in unusable condition, underneath the deck, leaning on a post. Not a big deal except we called in advance to confirm the BBQ in the photos was in fact there as we planned on grilling during our stay, the owner confirmed it was, so we specifically brought food to grill. Fortunately, there was a cast iron pan there so we made do but it was a bit of a disappointment. Lastly, but most concerning, were the carpenter ants. Upon check in we noticed a few ants here and there but the problem quickly progressed throughout our stay until there were literally ants crawling on my in-laws while they were sleeping in the downstairs bedroom as it was infested. The owner’s solution was to grab the bug spray under the sink but with a dog and an infant in the house we waited until we were departing to use the Raid. We had a good time because we had good company and the area is great, but we will stay elsewhere next time.

Holiday Magic! We decided to get together early this year 11.5-10 for some family time.
My husband, older son/wife from Dallas, son/girlfriend from Marin and myself and our two dogs enjoyed a nice 5 day stay at this cabin. We were able to take the dogs out in the back area for nice long walks (wooded area). Location was nice as we could go to S. Tahoe or N. Tahoe in about 30-40 minutes. The house was very nice. Beautiful, Relaxing Stay
Our family enjoyed this house in Lake Tahoe! This review is mostly tips for others who may visit. Dishes were nice and stocked, but pots and Pans and other cooking utensils were very used. There are no child friendly dishes. If you plan to enjoy the hot tub, which you should, take a pool towel or even better your favorite robe. It is the year of COVID, you are asked to remove your shoes at the door, a pair of house slippers might be nice to take. Trash is an important issue in the area because of bears. When we arrive the trash bins were just about complete full. Be conscientious about what you take and how much trash you will have. I would love to visit again!

Great location - needs minor additions
Great location. Love the woods right in the backyard. Would be nice if the house had some basic spices like salt and pepper. There is an cool, circa 2001, Harman Kardon speaker but you can only use it if you have an aux cord - which not many people carry on them. Be sure to bring that if you want to listen to some music. Easy to get in and out. The cleaning rules and the cleaning fee are a bit too high for having to do a lot of it yourself but otherwise it was a nice stay. The neighbors are pleasant folks as well.
