We really enjoyed our stay. We used the pool and it was lovely. The room we had was very nice and the staff were very friendly. We used the meal van that is on some evenings whilst we stayed and the food was great. Would definitely stay again.

Had a lovely few days away. This place was amazing from start to end: brilliant value for money. No they don’t have an onsite restaurant at the moment but The Union Inn is. 5 minute drive and the food is fabulous there.

Not a country club. The hotel has a nice history and we had a safe, clean room. It’s more like a country time share facility. After a long drive we arrived at 7:30 pm and wanted to jump in the pool but was disappointed to hear they closed at 7:00 pm which we thought was pretty early. No restaurant on site. No coffee onsite outside of a pot in your room.

We had a lovely time here and would recommend. We had a one bed apartment for our family of 4 (3 and 5 year old) which was absolutely fine. The kitchen was well equipped and had a supermarket delivery which was super easy. Our only problem with the apartment is the shower was basically just a trickle! The grounds are lovely, the kids loved the peacocks and ducks! The play park was also really well looked after. They also loved flying down the hills on their scooters. The facilities are also lovely, especially the pool which is heated. There's also evening entertainment in the games room/bar. We all loved the magic show.
