Amazing location, weird odor.
We came to Dresden for the Christmas Markets. Our group consists of three adults. The location of this hotel can’t be beat. That said, housekeeping is sloppy and they don’t refill coffee, creamers, even toilet paper properly. The biggest issue was the odor which I suspect might be from the carpets but it was very similar to sweat or BO. We didn’t try the breakfast because there are so many cute cafes and restaurants within 1-10 minute walking distance. The design is incredibly basic and uninteresting. The bar which is closed on Sundays and Mondays is also quite basic. This hotel is designated as a 4.5 star hotel but in the US, it wouldn’t pass as a 4.5 star hotel. It’s more akin to a US 3.5 star.

I love this hotel. It is so convenient, right at the center of old town, near everything. It has parking at Q-park with reserved area for this hotel and it is accessible right from hotel. I have junior room and it is very spacious, feel very luxurious. It is very clean. Staff is very nice. The best.

I booked a junior room and it was very roomy, looking new and clean and luxurious. The parking situation is not easy especially due to an town event on Sunday. They helped me a few times to how to drive into parking entrance. All other staff are also very helpful and nice. Everything is 5/5 from quality of room, staff, location and parking conveniences. it cost extra but worth the money considering it is so hard to park. I had researched days and planned to park at a cheap location a few minutes away. But being able to park your car directly under this hotel (it shares with a-park) is so much nicer. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I ever return to visit my wife’s friends again.

Hotel is in the best location, central to palaces, market square, great restaurants selections within short walking distance and nearby tourists sites. One day was not nearly enough time to enjoy everything this location has to offer. We definitely will make a point to visit again in the near future
