We really enjoyed our stay at Sweetwood Cottage and would love to rent it again. It was very charming, well-cared for, and walking distance to town. The large kitchen, open living room, and porch were great hangout areas. The team was very responsive, and everything went smoothly.

A wonderful stay! What a cute, quaint mountain cottage. Cozy and comfy. We had such a great time sipping coffee on the front porch and snuggling and watching some football in the spacious living room. I truly felt at home.

Wedding in Highlands

We had a family wedding to attend and wanted to be close to town and other family members but far enough away to have our privacy. The home was perfect, spacious and comfortable. Great location and so quiet!

We had a wonderful Christmas at Sweetwood Cottage! The property is beautiful and very well equipped, beds comfortable very clean and great location. We will definitely rent this cottage again.

We had a great family vacation. House was easy walk into town. Beautifully decorated with extremely nice furnishings. Wonderful porch for enjoying the cool mountain air.

Sweetwood Cottage is a Special Place!

We can't wait to visit again. Sweetwood Cottage was the perfect location for our girls trip. It was beautifully decorated and had all the comforts of home. While we didn't realize we had planned our trip in the "off season" there was still plenty of shopping and fine dining available. Looking forward to our next visit and stay at Sweetwood.

MLK weekend getaway

We were looking for a quick weekend getaway from Atlanta and looking for a little snow. Great property!! Love the layout of the house. We visit Highlands a few times a year and this property is one of the best we have stayed at. Felt like home away from home. We will definitely look to stay here again when we come back up.

Beautiful Property

We loved everything about this house. It was cozy, clean, and well stocked. We were able to walk into town. The mgmt company was extremely easy to work with. This was one of my favorite rentals and we've stayed in many. Thank you for the lovely stay.

Absolutely Charming!

We stay at many VRBOs and this was by far, one of the most charming. It was so welcoming AND clean. Every essential detail was taken care of as far as comfort and needed items. We feel very fortunate to have located this home and we would definitely reserve this property again.

Cozy home in great location

Sweetwood Cottage is a beautiful cozy home in a wonderful location. It’s an easy walk to downtown Highland. The kitchen is well stocked and makes cooking in a pleasure. The furniture is comfortable and the outside porch is an inviting space to hang out. Thanks for sharing this lovely cottage. We loved every minute!

Cozy mountain getaway

What a blessing! We absolutely loved the long weekend we spent at the Sweetwood Cottage and can’t wait to go back. The cottage was VERY comfortable and extremely well stocked, we wouldn’t change a thing. We will definitely try to return when the weather is a little warmer to enjoy the beautiful setting and front porch.

Cousins Weekend

Beautifully decorated and well equipped home with plenty of room. Front porch tucked in lush Appalachian greenery cooled by gentle breeze. Short walk to town and nature center. All questions and concerns handled promptly. Fabulous experience.

Wonderful weekend with friends

Had a cozy and relaxing girls weekend in this beautiful mountain cabin. The cabin was stocked with everything we could possibly need. We had one small snafu while there and after calling the number provided it was fixed immediately. Thank you Joe! Run don't walk to rent this fantastic home away from home.
