Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom hideaway nestles in a country estate that guests and their canine companions are welcome to explore. Venture 2 miles into bustling Hawick to meander through independent shops and dine out in a choice of eateries. Visit the famous Borders Textile Towerhouse, 2.5 miles away, where you can learn about the area’s knitwear and tweed industries. Also make time to tour the Borders Distillery, the same distance away, to find out how Scottish whisky is made and sample a wee dram. Take any pets in your party to Wilton Lodge Park, 3 miles away, to enjoy riverside walks. Head out to the magnificent Ale Water Valley, 9.5 miles from the lodge, to follow more scenic footpaths, go horse riding or indulge in a little golf or fishing.
