JMU Grad Weekend

The property was the perfect getaway during a busy JMU graduation weekend. We cooked and grilled for my graduating daughter’s friends one night and chilled out the other nights after grad activities. The location was an easy drive into Harrisonburg and didn’t feel like it was too far out. Bonus was the frequent deer visiting the property.

Wonderful stay for JMU Family Weekend

Wonderful 2 night stay for JMU family weekend. There was plenty of room for our extended family to enjoy and we appreciated the accommodation of a later checkout Sunday after a long game day on Sat. Highly recommend.

Visiting Daughter at JMU

We came to see my daughter compete at the track & field invitational. Only 20 mins from campus. The property was extremely clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed dinner in the outside seating area and the hot tub as well.

Long family ski, snow tube and water park weekend.

This lovely property looks and feels even better in person. The photos do not do it proper justice. Recently updated with thoughtful upgrades and appointments. The hot tub was ready to use when we arrived. We are foodies and the kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy preparing home cooked meals. One half mile to the slopes and tubing and close to off-site ski rental shop. We more than enjoyed our stay and will be going back again next year for our winter family vacation. Morning sunrises over the Shenandoah Mountains were breathtaking. Highly recommend this property!

Wonderful experience. House was clean and loved the hot tub, gas fire pit, huge kitchen, and great sleeping areas and common spaces. Excellent location close to Harrisonburg, Massanutten resort amenities, and even close enough for a day trip to Charlottesville. Loved our stay!

Picture told the truth

The house was just as if not more beautiful than the picture. My sister and I enjoy our stay. The room was of great size—three full-size bathrooms. We loved the screen in the porch. We were able to enjoy sitting on the porch in the rain. We will come back to the house again for our sister's trip was amazing and relaxing.

Great Spot!

This was a wonderful place for two families with small children. We took advantage of amenities offered at the resort and used it as a launching point to hike in Shenendoah. Super clean and spacious house!

Summer Getaway.

We enjoyed this home for our 9 family members. The home was like new inside and accommodated us nicely. The driveway is very steep, so if you have a low riding vehicle (family van) be prepared to scrap your undercarriage. Parking elsewhere is a problem. We tried parking in grassy knoll by obeying the rule of "all 4 tires off road," but it was very difficult to find a location nearby that met that rule. Other than that, I would recommend this property and we enjoyed our week at Massanutten.

Another Great Stay!

This was our second time staying at this property and enjoyed it even more this time. The location is just perfect and the house is super comfortable. Our young boys have fun with the games and air hockey table. My wife and I enjoy the hot tub and fire pit. We'll look to stay here again in the future.

Great stay in Massanutten

My family and I had a great stay at this home. It is a great size and had everything we needed. It is close to all of the resort amenities and not too far from Harrisonburg. It met all of our expectations. We'll definitely look into staying there again.

Good place, views were missing

We were looking for a place to stay while we visited nearby parks and recreation, and the house met all our needs. The mountain views promised in the listing set us up for higher expectations which were not met. (Maybe because the pictures are from a time when the trees/foliage did not block some views?) Nevertheless, the house was clean, had good amenities, and communication with the property manager was great. So I'd definitely recommend the location if great views aren't an absolute must.

Our stay at the Massanutten Resort home was wonderful! The home was very clean and comfortable. The size fit our family of seven perfectly. We couldn't have asked for a more convenient location for our daily trips to the Shenandoah hiking paths.

Outstanding Property

You never *really* know what you're getting with a Vrbo, but this blew us away...from cleanliness to home updates to location. The mountain views on the deck are second to none (we went during the winter, w/ no leaves the mountain visibility was great). Perfect size for one large(ish) family or 2 smaller families. If you forgot something immediate, the 7-11 is only 2 miles away and if something more extensive is needed you have Target + other shopping destinations10-11 miles away. An absolute gem for some time away in the mountains, we will be back.
