Nothing special. Ok for one night. Clean room, but not luxurious. No hand or face towel. Shower drain underneath the sink, so the toilet floor would be all wet after taking a shower. The area was ok, very close to the cathedral, walking distance, end of the alley.

7 Nights in Hanoi Blue Inn

The hotel is very well located in the middle of the old quarter. The staff is very friendly and the service also good. Unfortunately there was a construction site nearby the hotel, so we woke up every morning very early because of the noise. In addition the rooms are very bad soundproofed so we could hear every step or word from the stairwell and the room above. For a long stay the room (Deluxe) is too small.

A very nice hotel in an excellent location. Front desk extremely helpful in booking Halong Bay trip and money exchange. Good breakfast. Perhaps a bit overpriced considering the number of options in Hanoi.

Great location, fabulous staff

We chose Blue Hanoi for its location and we were really happy with it. We liked being in the Old Quarter, but on the edge of the madness of the centre of it all. The hotel is located in a side street so not super noisy. The staff were brilliant, always checking in that we had everything we needed. We saw Harry, the manager, each day and he always had a chat and asked us about our stay and plans for the day. Our room was clean and modern. We really enjoyed the breakfast each morning, made to order and plenty to eat. The pancakes and club sandwiches were favourites. Thanks Blue Hanoi!

Small hotel in a good location in the old quarter, breakfast was just ok, very hot on top floor and tiny open kitchen where breakfast was served, but for the price we booked 4 adults into a family room for 4 nights $350 AUD with breakfast, we were more than happy

In the centre of all the tourist spots

Right where you need to be but far enough away from a main road to be be a tranquil spot. Only minus was the coffee at breakfast, but out the main door turn left and about 50 meters on the corner is the best cappuccino we found in Hanoi. I highly recommend this hotel and its location.

I defy anyone to find a better standard of accommodation with more attentive staff. Everything about this hotel is perfect. The staff are wonderful, as is the breakfast, the location and the rooms. We went on four trips all recommended by the staff and were delighted with them all.

Great location, fantastic staff...

I booked 3 nights in Blue Hanoi Inn. The staff were so friendly and accommodating -- the general manager was up in the restaurant greeting guests and helping with breakfast the first morning, and the sales manager sat down with us and helped us book three great tours (street food walking tour, one day tour of Hanoi + visit to the ceramics village, and one day tour to the old capitol + boating and cycling around the countryside of Ninh Binh -- all of which we enjoyed thoroughly. The location in the Old Quarter is perfect -- walking distance to the shopping district, Hoan Kiem Lake, and good restaurants. The rooms are very nice and modern, the breakfast was amazing (you would easily pay more for the breakfast alone in most hotels in US or Singapore than the entire per night cost of the room including breakfast here), but I can't say enough about how great the staff were -- especially general manager, Harry, and sales manager, Nancy. Would definitely stay here again! :)

Quiet haven for a busy location

We stayed 6 nights at the Blue Hanoi Hotel Inn. Our friends from Holland also stayed the same period of time. The room was big, bed comfortable although mattress hard. Bathroom with shower excellent. A more modern than traditional hotel. The staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly. Great location in the 'Old Quarter' and very quiet. Would definitely recommend and stay there without hesitation another time.
