The perfect Halloween experience. We started by doing the escape room that situated on the grounds. On the evening, we did the Elizabethan banquet with a Halloween twist.. Food and drink was all fantastic and the room was out out of this world. Super quirky but refined. It’s almost like staying at Hogwarts

Room was amazing but only issue it was way to hot after 1st morning waking with a headache due to heat i asked reception if could they maintenance team check the thermostate as he said he get someone to check sadly after 3 nights 2 morning waking up with heafache no one came. It's a Beautiful castle, nice rooms, but could do with a bit love. The evening meal was superb, if just a tad too salty. The breakfast was mainly inedible, the bacon was hard and fatty, the hash brown was undercooked and pale, the scrambled eggs were so salty that I couldn't eat them, the sausage was nondescript, the tomato was undercooked, the very small selection of pastries were stale, breakfast paid separately was charged at £23.95 per head!! I wouldn't have paid £5 for it. The staff seemed uninterested, nobody asked why we had left our cooked breakfast, complained to front desk about it, the response was I'll let them know. We won't be going back.
