Beautiful wooden house, well maintained. Well stocked with kitchen supplies. Close to South Pond beach and Maggie’s Nature Park. Porch where we could sit with our dog. A short drive to Mt. Abrams and river kayaking and tubing places. Lovely quiet property. We had six people and room to spare. Host responded to texts within minutes. A great place for a family vacation.

Great mountain house!

Overall amazing stay at this property, very clean and comfortable. About 20-25 minutes away from Sunday River and perfect for a ski weekend. A few minor things we ran into on our stay is that there are plates and bowls for 8, so had to run the dishwasher frequently or hand wash to use plates at both breakfast and dinner. Also the water pressure in the showers was quite low. Other than that, the living space and kitchen were perfect for our group and the host was incredibly responsive. The driveway isn’t paved so 4WD is definitely needed!

Amazing location, beautiful home!

Seven of us stayed for a long weekend of skiing and catching up with old friends. The place is comfortable and perfectly accommodating for all of us! Great location to access my. Abram’s and Bethel. We will be back!

Absolutely Gorgeous Chalet but some miscommunication with property management following check out.

stayed three nights here for my partners birthday with some friends and family. The property was absolutely gorgeous and stocked with everything that you would need for a ski weekend. The property was clean and slept 10 very comfortably. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a Ski weekend. Also very close in distance to Sunday River. Only downside I have to put here is following checkout the cleaners apparently rated me 3 out of 5 stars. They said we broke wine glasses but there was only 1 wine glass in the cabinet. They also said the towels were left dirty yet the check out instructions clearly stated to leave towels and bed sheets stripped on the bathroom floor. Not sure why I was deducted stars for following the check out instructions. I cleaned the property, loaded the dishwasher, wiped down all countertops etc prior to checking out. I’ve had nothing but positive reviews in the past, not sure what changed here. I would be a little hesitant if you are planning to book here with a large group. Had a wonderful stay until i got this news today.

Maine Ski Trip

Our group of 8 stayed at this lovely, near-lake log cabin-themed home in Greenwood which is approximately 10 minutes from downtown Bethel and 20-25 from Sunday River. The home is new, off the beaten path, and well kept/maintained/clean. It featured 2 upstairs bedroom where 4 in our party slept and shared a full bathroom. One of the upstairs rooms had a queen and the other had 2 twins. The first floor featured a master bedroom with bathroom off the kitchen. That room also featured a queen bed. Downstairs had a family / playroom feel to it but it had two more twin beds and another full bathroom. The first floor living area was large enough to accommodate our group for evening games, television viewing, and reading. The kitchen was well-maintained, stocked, and clean. There was a gas fireplace in the living area to add to the ambience. If looking for a neat, clean, and relaxing location at an affordable rate where your group can recover from a day of activity, this is a convenient and recommended solution for you.

Spectacular property with amazing location & amenities

Came to Maine to ski at Sunday River with family and friends. This absolutely gorgeous cabin was the perfect distance from the ski resort to be secluded enough but close enough for all day skiing. House is absolutely gorgeous with plenty of room for friends and family to spread out. Televisions and fireplaces. Very easy to use. Host also left a variety of games for the kids to play or adults. Communication was easy and all the guests enjoyed the comforts of home. There is a washer dryer, which is also key if you have snow gear or anything to launder While you’re away. We have stayed a number of properties over the past six years. This is definitely one of top stays so far. You will not be disappointed if choose this vacation venue!
