Great place to stay for a beach and Broads holiday with your dog

Cottage had everything we needed for our stay with a super safe garden for our small dog . So good to stay somewhere dogs are really welcome , towels, bowls and even a packet of treats supplied for them . A tasty welcome pack for us too . The cottage is a few minutes walk from a sandy beach . The Broads are a within a short drive with lots of nature walks .

Lovely Stay At Brig Cottage, Scratby

We enjoyed our stay at the very comfortable Brig Cottage, Scratby. The cottage is a short walk from a wide, sandy beach with great walks in both directions. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the cottage well equipped for a self-catering stay. Lots to do and see in the area e.g. National Trust properties, Cromer, Sheringham, Horsey Gap, Redwings Horse Sanctuary. Plenty of places at which to eat and drink. Great value and highly recommended.

It’s just a perfect little cottage

Brid cottage is a little piece of heaven ! Ideally situated with only a short walk to the beach it has everything you need to make your stay work .

Brig Cottage, Everything was perfect

What a lovely cottage and everything was perfect for dogs Buster 1yr old springer spaniel,Barney 9 month old Labrador and us two humans, a short walk and you are on the beach, coffee and bacon rolls from Scratby Bakery are just the best and so are their cakes, lots of great places locally to visit and very dog friendly.

Beach holiday

On arriving at Brig cottage was happy to find a welcome package ,everything was clean & tidy .loved the dog cupboard and spare accessories for the pooch ,dogs have more travel items than toddlers .Very well situated for beach and pavement walks plus pub ,shop & chip shop.Scratby is a beautiful place for a relaxing time away from home.

Perfect winter location

Brig Cottage is warm, comfortable and very dog friendly. It is a 10 minute walk to a beautiful sandy beach which was great for the dogs. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well appointed and powerful shower with plenty of hot water. No complaints from us at all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brig Cottage.

Lovely stay!

We had a great time at brigg cottage. All the local places that are recommended are lovely especially the bakery! The beach down the road was so lovely and beautiful! Most importantly the dogs absolutely loved it! Never seen them so tired!!

Third visit to Brig

Even better than the first two visits as the bed and sofas had been upgraded. Brig is a real home from home, a lovely comfortable cottage to spend a week. Walking distance to lovely beach as well as a few eateries. Thanks Jane for another super stay.

Brig Cottage

We loved our stay here. First of all, the cottage is spacious! We came with our 2 German Shepherd dogs and there was plenty of room to move around. The garden was lovely to sit in and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening sunshine. Highly recommend the bakery down the road. The beach is super close which makes for some lovely walks, we visited good old Yarmouth only a short drive away and also Winterton-on-sea which is super pretty. We loved Brigg cottage and would stay again!

Perfect accommodation everything spotless. The garden was perfect and secure lovely to sit and relax

The best dog friendly accommodation we have ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen. Throws and crate provided and my four dogs loved the garden and I knew even my beagles could not escape. Beds and linen high quality I have nothing but praise.

A few days away with my dog while my bathroom was being upgraded.

The cottage was clean, cosy and very well equipped. A dedicated dog cupboard had treats, bowls, towels, bedding and spare leads. The beach was a short walk away and stretched for miles. Fantastic bakery just down the road. The venetian gardens in Yarmouth are worth a visit, and the dunes behind them are great for a dog walk. Fish and chips from Monty's in Hemsby were fantastic.

A last minute break

Comfortable, well equipped cottage in a good location for some lovely beaches. The property is tastefully decorated and furnished. We found it very comfortable. The conservatory was a lovely place to have a cuppa and read when the weather didn't allow us to use the lovely court yard garden.

Great stay, home from home with our teenage daughter and 2 greyhounds.

Great location for beach walks and days out. Lovely bakery at end of road and lots of options for eating out and day visits. Recommend Broads boat hire as a day out. Smoke house and whites are good for dining.Lovely clean property full of character , with lovely welcome pack.Great for dog owners. Bumped into the owners when collecting the car, lovely people.

Lovely cottage. Very clean. Everything catered for. Close to beach. Easy parking. The only thing is you have to have leads in to get dogs in and out of the car as parking is out the Front.

A short break with the dogs

What a delightful cottage. As an original fisherman's cottage of bygone years you would expect some quirky features such as the winding stairs and the low doorways but it all added to its charm. It was spotless, bright and well looked after. It felt immediately comfortable with our two dogs settling nicely. The beautiful beach is a 5 min walk. We'll definitely want to stay at Brig Cottage again. Thank you to Jane the owner and ERC for delivering excellent service.

Pretty cottage in a great location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Brig Cottage. Being able to take a short walk to the beach was a real treat. Our every need was provided for as we have come to expect from ERC. Although they didn't bother us, the only slight downsides were that the dog wasn't allowed upstairs and getting ourselves up the stairs was a bit of a challenge.

Gorgeous dog friendly cottage

This was actually our second stay, having stayed in May. The cottage is a short walk away from the beach, but even though we'd booked in half term/Jubilee weekend there was still plenty of space to enjoy the fantastic beach. The cottage ticks all the boxes - enclosed garden, offstreet parking, bath & shower, washing machine etc. Enjoyed the cafes & pubs within walking distance and also within a short drive. The owners are lovely (as is the owner of East Ruston Cottages) and we felt very welcome during our two stays.

Lovely cozy cottage

What a clean cozy comfortable cottage. The position was great , only a ten minute walk to miles and miles of glorious beach. Jane the owner has made lots of thoughtful touches for the dogs and the humans. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area. The only downside was the dishwasher wasn’t working so we were asked not to use it which meant a lot of time spent washing up!
