The Space:

Located within LostFork Basecamp, this sleek studio cabin is built for couples or solo travelers looking for a modern, efficient space in the mountains. It blends sleek architecture with easy access to outdoor recreation and wellness amenities.



Your stay includes access to all features at LostFork’s shared community center. Spend your afternoon trying heat therapy in our creekside saunas, taking a refreshing river plunge, or hanging out on our sandy river beach. When evening arrives, make your way over to the communal fire pit to roast s'mores and connect with others under the mountain sky.



Inside, high vaulted ceilings and large windows create an open atmosphere filled with natural light and scenic forest views.

By Car: From Denver: Grant is just a scenic 50-mile drive southwest of Denver along US Highway 285.

From Georgetown: Take Guanella Pass, just 23 miles south to Grant, to reach the junction with Hwy 285.



Public Transportation: Highway 285 is more remote, and there are limited public transit options to reach the area. Renting a car or driving is the most efficient way to enjoy the area and explore the nearby hiking and fishing locations.



On Foot & By Bike: Once you're at LostFork Basecamp, you'll have access to countless hiking and biking trails directly from the property. The nearby Geneva Creek Trail and Abyss Lake Trail provide fantastic opportunities to explore the natural beauty of the area on foot or by bike.



Note on Roads: The Guanella Pass Scenic Byway, a 22-mile route, provides breathtaking views as it ascends to over 11,600 feet. During winter months, the pass is closed to automobiles seasonally, so be sure to check road conditions before venturing up.



Airports:

Denver International Airport (DEN): Approximately 80 miles northeast of Grant, ideal for those flying into the area.



Other Things to Note:

• The Outdoor Community Center also includes men’s and women’s restrooms, each equipped with two showers and toilets for added convenience.

• Each cabin features a kitchenette, ideal for simple meal prep, but not intended for large or complex meals.

• *NO A/C - There is no air conditioning, as the summer in the mountains is very temperate.*

• *FIRE SAFETY - The mountains are a fragile area with high wildfire risk. Please exercise extreme caution during your stay, as the property is located in a high fire-risk area.

- Fires are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property, other than the approved communal area fire pit.

- Do not discard cigarette butts, matches, or flammable materials on the ground - always extinguish and dispose of them properly.

• PET RULES - MAX of 2 dogs allowed; $35 per pet, and you will be held responsible for damages; Please inquire with us for more details before booking; Please keep pets off of the beds and furniture. A $50 fee will be incurred if pet waste is not picked up. If an unapproved pet is found at the property, you will be asked to vacate immediately, and a $1000 fine will be incurred.

•Please note we are not liable for left items. Returns incur a $50 fee plus shipping costs. Any items not claimed within 24 hours of checkout are donated or discarded.

• There is a $30 fee for early check-in. Availability of early check-in cannot be confirmed until after 10am on your arrival day.
