Close to grand baie town- 15/20 min walk. Good room size, great showers, all basic toiletries and hand towl provided. Excellent beach, lots of beds and private beach. Great acitivies included in room rate and easily accessible

Exceptional family holiday

Everything about this hotel was on point. The facilities, service, food, kids club. JD the wellness staff member was exceptional and deserves recognition. Because of him we knew all about the hotel, facilities and ability to use the wellness centre at the spa free of charge. Without him we would not have known this. Kids club had kids eat free which was another lovely bonus. Well done Lux a great family holiday had for all the family :-)

The Lux Grand Baie is a beautiful property, service was fantastic except by the main pool, service is lacking by the pool a little. Breakfast is amazing lots of options and great quality food. The beach is beautiful and well maintained. The spa - WOW it was amazing highly recommend. The pool was great had 3 options everything well spaced out so didn’t feel overcrowded. The lobby is stunning and the restaurants were fantastic. Service is 5 star throughout. Our room was super spacious (2 bedroom apartment with a private pool) and so beautiful designed and lots of storage so great for families. It is connected by a bridge which is a 5 min or less walk but a nice walk in the mornings to breakfast would highly recommend especially for family’s who need more space!!

Absolutely Beautiful and Amazing - Lux* Grand Baie Review I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lux* Grand Baie with my pregnant wife and our 3-year-old toddler, and it was hands down the best holiday we've ever had. The resort is absolutely beautiful and amazing in every way. The staff at Lux* Grand Baie deserve special mention—they were extremely friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. We stayed on the ground floor, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Being able to walk out directly to the swimming pool and the beach was a fantastic convenience, especially with a toddler in tow. It added an extra layer of relaxation to our holiday. Although I booked room only, the hotel offered complementary food (in-room service) for my three-year-old, which was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Additionally, the resort offered several complementary excursions such as a glass bottom boat ride, snorkeling, and water skiing, among others. These activities added so much fun and adventure to our stay. The rooms were extremely spacious and beautifully designed, providing a luxurious and comfortable environment for our family. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making our stay truly special. I would highly recommend Lux* Grand Baie. Whether you're traveling as a couple, with family, or on your own, this resort offers an unparalleled experience.

This is one of the best resort like hotels we have ever stayed! Plenty of space, no crowds, many water sports activities included. You get courtesy fruit, flavoured water and picolés while enjoying beachtime in the many available sunbeds. Incredible and diversified breakfast options! All staff is incedible nice and the service is truly costumer centric - e.g. while we had to check out at 11 am, we could enjoy the facilities until our late flight/taxi time, were then offered a courtesy room with shower up to 1h before our taxi time tochange and freshen up! Awesome time, well done to the management!

The service at this resort is impeccable. Every aspect is luxury from the rooftop pool to the beautiful beach. There is an abundance of loungers and while some people put out towels at sunrise, it was unnecessary as we never had a problem finding a longer at any time of day. This might not be the resort for you if you have children that would like to be entertained but as a couple enjoying a romantic getaway this was exactly what we were looking for. Lots of bars and restaurants close by although the food at LUX was excellent as well!
