The stay was ok, but the room was filthy. The back of the toilet, around the seat bolts, was lined in built-up urine & gunk. One day our room was not cleaned at all. The next day, it had new towels, but the beds were half-made with pillows on the floor, and it hadn't been vacuumed. At breakfast the garbage can was piled 2 feet high over the trash rim and there was a cockroach scuttling around under the waffle-maker. The building itself has potential, but the ownership/management & the cleaning is seriously lacking.

Called a few weeks ago to tell them we were no longer bringing a pet and wanted a non-pet room. upon check in he told us there would be a charge for the pet. I told him we called and said no pet and wanted a no pet room. He said ok but then still gave us room 101 which was obviously a pet room.

We had to move rooms because ours had a door to a potential adjoining room. The neighbors in that room had their TV so loud that the door may as well have been open. The new room had an odd smell, like the furnace/air conditioner needed to be changed. Overall, it was not the nicest place I've stayed. It was fine - not great.

First room had a plumbing issue. Main reason for stay here was for the pool and hot tub. It was so dirty. Very moldy with kids names all over put in the mold. Disgusting. Poor jets in the hot tub - filter probably needs to be change. Staff was very accomdating but the pool was terrrible. Second room was comfy!

We have stayed in this hotel two other times prior to this visit and this hotel has gotten worse over the past year. This visit, the smell in the room was musty and moldy. Turned on the air and went out. When came back the the floor under the air conditioner was soaking wet and so was my bag. The front desk was very accommodating however the next room had the same problem. The staff tried but the hotel is just getting old and run down.

Was concerned about several reviews about bedbugs and roaches. Addressed this at check-in. The receptionist was understanding, offered to show me the room and cancel my reservation without penalty. The room was fine no bugs. There was a bad review about hard pillows and dirty linens - I had 5 pillows, soft to firm and linens and blankets were clean. When my key did not work, again the receptionist responded promply to resolve. The bathroom was dated and worn, but clean. Carpets were worn and stained, time for replacing, but I have no complaints and no bedbug bites. The surrounding area felt safe. Overall my stay was fine.

We have stayed at this location for a couple of years now and it seems like no monies are being invested back into the property. Our bedsheet had a stain on it consistent of blood and the under shirting of the bed had quite a bit of dust on it and appeared to not have been changed in weeks, maybe? While I don't expect the staff to be cheering for a parade, it seems like they would rather not be there, and that is disappointing when you are coming to the area for an exciting event. While I appreciate the included breakfast, it would be nice to see a little variety if you are staying 2 or more days in a row.

Need some customer service lessons

The hotel itself was fine. Average place with a slightly higher than average price. I was irritated with the service. I wanted to leave a vehicle there for maybe 2-3 hours before check-in. (We had two for our trip). They finally allowed me but I called multiple times for an answer. Did not impress me, and whomever I spoke with on the phone did not seem to care much about customer service. It was enough to make me think “I won’t go there again”.
