Wonderful staff who went above and beyond to accommodate some potentially challenging circumstances, super friendly, cute and clean rooms, recommend the spa rooms, just cover the hot tubs back up when not in use or it can feel a little humid. Excellent place to stay

It is a magical and unique place, of course this is not for everyone, it is a place that transports you to 60 and I loved that, I would appreciate a little more maintenance but that does not steal the magic and speaking of magic when we arrived at 10 pm we were a little scared around, but when we entered everything changed and we spent two incredible nights we enjoyed nature and the natural air, the birds and all that the lake super delicious, anyway I liked it

Do not stay here. There was no hot water. There was water and a white milky liquid seeping through the bathroom floor. The doors were filthy. The bed was a joke. It was more like a king sized cot.

Very pet friendly (including cats). Excellent value if you don’t need a lot of frills. (There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room.) Friendly staff. Charming rustic hotel in beautiful setting on lake. Easy drive to good restaurant/bar. We stop here every year on our way home but would definitely enjoy a longer stay. It’s probably even more beautiful in the summer with leaves on the trees.

It was not what we expected. Everything was dirty including the sheets and floors. Internet was in and out, if you could get any. Dark and gloomy. Not soundproof. No beach, it's a swamp that you cannot swim. This was the worst place ever!

This place belongs on Antiques Roadshow. The property is very poorly maintained, and the cleanliness was deplorable. There was no soap, the sink was clogged, and only one towel was provided for two people. The bed was uncomfortable, with old spring mattresses, and there appeared to be some sticky substance on the bed cover. I was relieved that we were staying for only one night. On the positive side, the property has many interesting antique and vintage items, including old cars displayed at the entrance, which added some charm and character. Overall, this place needs a lot of TLC (tender loving care) and significant attention to maintenance and cleanliness.
