Staff were friendly, breakfast was delicious. Our window in the room was broken so wouldnt fully close. We did report this. Lucky the weather isnt as cold or it would have been too cold to sleep in there. Pool was a great added extra, however the changing room facilities are not the best and not very clean.

Staff nice. Good breakfast with a lot of options but finished too early. Hotel tired. Pool tiny and always full - it was half term. Gym very sad and tired.

Perfect Family hotel

Great hotel for families. Kids eat free, get activity packs and treats. Nice warm swimming pool, play area in the restaurant to keep them occupied & everything you could need for breakfast! We use the hotel every year to see the seals at Nearby Horsey Gap but probably spend more time in the pool!

Don’t usually leave reviews but OMG the food is shocking!!! Please avoid the char grilled chicken thighs!!! How the chef can char grill and plate chicken thighs in 4 minutes ( yes 4 minutes from order till food arrives at table) is beyond me!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING

I paid for a king size bed, the room was 2 single beds pushed together. I put the “no housekeeping” sign on the door, it was ignored and the cleaner came into the room anyway

Stop over night stay.

We stayed at this hotel before continuing to our next destination. Our room was behind the reception and we can hear the noise so didn’t get to sleep well. The breakfast bar was good; plenty of selections from fruits to hot breakfast, tea and coffee.

Nye party night

A wonderful stay at the holiday inn on nye. We was attending the nye party at the hotel so gave us everything we need. The only disappointment we had was we didnt know in advance that the pool would shut early and open late the next day so we wouldnt get to use it very much. But this all worked as the lovely girls on the desk booked me late check out so we were able to make the most of it after we had a complimentary breakfast that was added on to. So all in all, we had a fantastic time and the party was brillaint to.

I strayed on a Friday night and had to leave early on the Saturday. It was a shame that the breakfast was already laid out and cold when I went to the restaurant at just after 6.30am. Noon we appeared to be around to complain to.

Attention to detail in every area was excellent, food choices at breakfast had such variety and catered for all. Staff were welcoming. The room was clean had everything required for a good nights sleep. The room stat could be easily altered to suit. Had tea/ coffee making facilities with a variety of choices
