Staff were great. Room was a little small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked to order. Evening menu is a little pricey. I didn't realise there was a gym, as it isn't advertised on the website. Would have been good to know.

We stayed in room 217. Bed needs replacing as well used. It was risen at the bottom & had dips in middle. This resulted in a very poor night's sleep for me & my wife. I did mention this to receptionist in morning while checking out.

Room nice, very dusty lights, the double bed was two pushed together so big gap in the middle which was uncomfortable. The room next door was noisy you can hear them and whenever they used the bathroom so sleep was poor. Never informed about breakfast , which was poor there were used footware in the wardrobe

Overall, our stay was average. My wife and I stayed for three days to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately, there were a few issues that affected our experience. The bathtub drain was extremely slow and did not drain properly. There was also a heating issue in the room. it did not work during our entire stay. We informed the staff and were told it was working fine, and although we requested a repair, no one came to fix it, so we stayed without heating for all three days. Additionally, the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable, which made sleeping difficult.

I love this hotel and have been twice now and will return again. The decor is lovely. The spa is delightful. The only downside is that the walls are paperthin so you can hear everything and the spa is often far too busy.

Overall excellent value for money. Good breakfast and the staff were really friendly. Slightly odd smell in some of the downstairs corridors - a bit like damp? The facilities were really good, loved the spa and the gym. Beautiful property. Lots of parking. Slightly confusing information on Expedia when booking re spa access as it conflicts with some of the information on the website but wasn't a problem on arrival at the hotel. Overall enjoyed our stay
