We really enjoyed our stay. The house was just as it appears in the pictures, was very clean, and the owner was very responsive if we needed anything or had any questions. The game room was great as was the pool. We would definitely come again and recommend this rental to anyone who is visiting the area.

Our family had a great stay at this property! Although only 90 minutes from the Metroplex, Countryside Haven offered unmatched tranquility and peacefulness. Amenities like the pool and fully-equipped game room allowed us to relax while the surrounding acreage also made for brisk hiking. If you want to escape the hustle and grind of the city, look no further than the Haven.

Great place for family with kids!

We all loved the game room, pool, hike to the cave area and especially the trampoline. Beautiful home and property. Home very well equipped with everything you need. Great location for those planning to go to Dinosaur World and Dinosaur Valley! Grands are already asking to go back!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was extremely clean and thoughtfully prepared for guests—everything we needed was ready and waiting. The game barn was a hit with everyone and offered plenty of activities to keep all ages entertained. But the highlight of our trip was definitely exploring the beautiful creek on the property—it was such a unique and memorable experience for the whole group. Highly recommend this place for a fun and relaxing getaway!

Beautiful location and house

We stayed for a long weekend and enjoyed all the amenities. Basketball, game room, pool etc… it was also close to Fossil Rim. Beautiful house and location. Would definitely recommend.

Great property! Great stay! Great experience!

We had a lovely stay at this property. It has a wonderful feeling of privacy and seclusion without being too far removed from the town. The host was very communicative. And best of all, I didn’t hear the kids say “We’re bored” a single time!

Beautiful spacious home and property!

We booked this home for a weekend when we were in Texas for a wedding in nearby Walnut Springs. The home was beautiful, clean and well appointed. The owner was helpful and responsive. Lots to do, pickleball, basketball as well as a variety of games in the game room. Enjoyed relaxing by the pool and in the spa. We highly recommend this property!

Excellent Getaway Spot!

We were in town to go to my son's football game at Tarleton State. The house was the PERFECT place for our family to gather. SUCH A CUTE HOME!!!! The gameroom/barn was hours of entertainment. Can't wait to go back when we can use the pool. Highly recommend!

Perfect Family Getaway

The weather didn't cooperate, but that's not the owner's fault. Their property is beautiful and we would love to come back when we can spend time enjoying the outdoors & all they have to offer. I love that they give to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Just a word of thanks. This property was absolutely perfect. Elegantly appointed, well stocked, very comfortable. We had a couple of friend in from New York and they enjoyed it so much. Thanks to the owners and property management for a great stay. Highly recommended.

We cooked all of our meals in the well stocked kitchen and had plenty of towels, etc. for our stay. The host is very diligent and welcoming. The entire family would not hesitate to recommend this countryside oasis.

Great place for family

Our family loved it here - the property is peaceful and quiet, with beautiful views all around. The house is spacious and comfortable, and the kids could not get enough of the trampoline and the pool. We loved the wrap-around porches and porch swing. So much space for the little ones to run around! The manager answered all questions promptly and made us feel welcome. We definitely want to return.

We have been doing annual family reunions for several years and make it a point to experience a new location each year. Will probably break that tradition next year as we enjoyed this place so much. Well equipped, management very responsive, new/modern, lovely property. We loved the game room and pickleball court. Highly recommend.

Great Weekend Getaway

We had a great stay at Countryside Haven with a group of old high school and college buddies. We had a blast exploring the property, figuring out pickleball, and enjoying the great weather around the pool. Rounds of golf at Squaw Valley and a great lunch at Loco Coyote just down the road. The house and property was spotless and has every amenity you could need for a relaxing weekend. The bass pond that is slowly filling in is going to be a great spot to fish in the future! We'll certainly be back!

The perfect place for a family vacation!

This house is such an awesome house. We spent most of our time enjoying the great amenities that the house had to offer. Our 6 year old grandson really enjoyed the games in the separate barn area. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. There was plenty of room for us to enjoy togetherness as well as do our own thing when we wanted to. The house is so beautifully decorated. The owners have fully stocked it with all you need! And the beds were super comfy! We all said we want to go back again soon!
