The first time I had stayed at a Point A hotel. It’s centrally located at a budget price and my room had many space or money saving features. Two pillows on the bed; fold up chair attached to the wall and tables that fold out from the wall. The bathroom would be tight for a person of above average size but the shower was good. There are ambient light settings which is an unusual feature. A separate ironing room is available. Also, no tea/coffee - available at reception for a charge. I liked the continental breakfast. The serving area is well designed and there was a good selection of cold food on offer.

We booked through Expedia. The advertised free breakfast was not free if booked in this manner. The room was very clean and staff were friendly The rooms were basic. It reminded me of a student residence.

Nothing particularly wrong with the hotel, but my room was 'cold' on arrival and, as the heating turns off if there's no card in the slot, it was cold again on return from an evening out. I stayed one night, I probably won't stay another.

We did n9t have breakfast. Hotel very wll positioned between bus station and train station. Staff sre excellent, very helpful always looking ti get you a room that is ready if you arrive esrly.. Leaving luggage on day of departure no problem.

Stayed here over night after a concert in Glasgow. Stay was good, only issue was the fire alarm went off the next morning around 7:15am which wasn’t a very good start to the morning and gave us a bit of a fright, especially so early. however we had to make our way down stairs just to be told in the hallway by other guests who were on their way back up that it was a false alarm and we can go back to our rooms
