Check in was easy. Clear instructions about check in and the workings of the flat. The agency communicated fast and friendly. The flat is located at a 15 min walk to Merchant City or a 15 min bus ride to Glasgow Central. Plenty of parking space on the street in front of the house.We found the flat disappointing. The house was very dated, not as well finished as the photos suggested. It was cleaned well, but everything was quite old and worn. Stains on the sofa bed made it feel unfresh to sleep on. Mold on the bathroom walls. The biggest complaint we had was a very strong smell of cigarettes. The agency suggested the previous guests smoked during their stay. Our impression was that the previous owner of the flat was a smoker. That is a smell you can’t get rid of by cleaning or with a fresh coat of paint. We had to keep the windows open at all times to feel comfortable. We wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you plan to be out most of the time.
