Retired winegrower (family estate located a stone's throw away, exploited in "reasoned agriculture" HVE / tasting & visit possible by reservation), Marguerite welcomes you to a charming traditional 19th century winegrowers' house carefully restored. Peaceful rural hamlet - wine & residential - nestled in the countryside in the heart of the vineyard, near the center of Givry (former fortified village of which the remains of the ramparts remain), famous for its AOC (flagship of the Côtes Chalonnaises) & its very rich listed heritage (many churches including a Romanesque building from the 12th century, Porte de l'Horloge, round hall, Cellier aux Moines, washhouses, mansions...). Nestled in the hollow of a magnificent unspoiled valley of hillsides of vineyards & meadows near several vast state forests, Givry has all the services & shops and many leisure activities including the "Acrogivry" Park (the largest park tree climbing in Burgundy, one of the largest adventure parks in France!).
