Looks good from the road but is not on the river.

Pros: Location.... thats about it.
Cons: BUY SOME DECENT PILLOWS for the rooms.
Location: Lots of things... close to the Peddler which is my favorite place to eat. Easy to walk to main drag from hotel.
With this being a Hilton I expected more. Actually was the worst Hilton I have ever stayed in.... The room was nice enough I guess but the pillows were pitiful. Probably costs $5 a pillow. Then you look at the drapes and I am sure they were close to $700 in value. Why can a hotel not understand that you go there usually to sleep and not to look at fancy drapes. Staff seemed to not want to be there and I understand that. Kitchen was marginal service at best. Pool is inside which we knew but will not ever stay at a hotel again that does not have an outdoor pool. The hot tub... was big but only half of the jets were working.

Near everything! Liked the fire in the evening

This is our 7th stay in Gatlinburg and our first at this facility -- a friend recommended it. Overall, we liked the hotel -- it is within walking distance of all the shopping and eating in Gatlinburg while not be right in all of the busyness. It is right across the street from the river and the area is quiet. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the fire ring outside (was always lit) -- we were out there just about every evening to decompress with the free cookies and coffee/tea. We only had two problems - 1) when we got in our room, one of the pictures on the wall was broken with loose glass. It looked like they have vacuumed the area, but the picture was still on the wall. The hotel came and got it as soon as we called and the picture was back on the wall in a couple of days. 2) the pillows on the beds were really bad -- too soft and thin to really use. We tried doubling up, but it still wasn't enough. We will be bringing our own the next time!

Nice hotel. Good location.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet
Cons: no free breakfast
The hotel was nice and in a great location off of the main strip. My wife and I walked wherever we need to in Gatlinburg. Driving to Pigeon Forge was quick (10 minutes from hotel to Pigeon Forge city limits), but I would chalk that up to the time of year as much as the hotel. (We were told September was a slower month in terms of number of visitors.) The cost of the hotel was fairly high considering breakfast was not included (although we did pay for the breakfast one day and it was pretty good!). Wi-fi was included. For the most part, cleanliness was okay. We gave a 2 rating because of one issue where the toilet obviously was needing to be cleaned (I know... kinda gross to talk about) and the maid didn't do it. If maid isn't going to clean toilets, at least provide a toilet brush. Only other issue was one night the fire alarm started beeping at us every couple minutes (indicating a dying battery?). Probably would be good for the hotel to take up a program that proactively replaces the batteries instead of interrupting a guest's night of sleep. Overall, we would recommend it if you want to spend the money.

Nice hotel with wonderful staff

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
This hotel is very nice and welcoming. The bed is insanely hard though! Turning it down to soft does it make it soft at all. Also I do believe we got the worst room in the hotel. We couldn't even see outside because there was the top of another part of the hotel right in front of our window only. AND it had a light in it that shown in our room all night long. But overall it's a very nice hotel with wonderful staff and I would stay here again. Just not in room 211.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
This was our first stay at this hotel. The hotel area was very clean, very good breakfast buffet at a reasonable price, and the staff was very helpful. Would recommend this hotel.

Very pleasant staff - felt very welcome. Quality in all aspects - room, food and service.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Room was great. The hotel location allowed us to walk to shops, attractions and dining - just kept the car parked in the free parking area. The staff was very helpful and friendly - felt very much at home.

Could not have imagined my honeymoon being any better.

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet, clean clean clean
My wife and I eloped on Feb 16 and booked the room soley because of the name. Little did we know it would be an experience of a lifetime. The front desk clerk was from our home town, the room was amazing along with the weather. The breakfast the next morning was prepared by a gourmet chef. It was honestly heatbreaking to have to check out. This was the first time on vacation that we did not want to leave the room. We loved the hotel so much, we are planning a birthday/3 month aniversary celebration in may. I had no idea a Hilton was even in Gatlinburg and I see it as a hidden treasure. I will definately stay no where else.
