When we got there things were dirty. Host offered to resend cleaners but I said no we had already cleaned it up. I was told by the host in October there was a hot tub there but when we got there, no hot tub to be found. Host said it was removed. That was one of the main reasons I booked this place. We were all very disappointed. Then the railing in the outside staircase was secured at all. I have pictures. My husband is disabled and needs to hold on while climbing stairs. He almost fell. In the game room we tried playing pool but the pool table pockets had holes in them so the balls fell right through. It was a decent place but not what we expected. I clean for a living and was shocked that things were left dirty. Wouldn’t stay there again.

The host was very good at communicating and giving all information needed. The place was wonderful. The only problem we had was the refrigerator never worked properly while we were there. However, the host did reimburse us for groceries that went bad. We would stay at this venue again in the future. We saw bears just about every day we were there.

The house itself was lovely and in a great location - just about a 20 minute walk from the main strip. Everyone had plenty of space and the rooms were all large. We also enjoyed watching the neighborhood bears too!The only main hiccup was that the fridge/freezer did not cool the entire 3 days we were there. There was a notice on it that said it could take up to 8 hours to fully cool, but even the ice we had in the freezer melted on the 2nd day we were there.However, we had a wonderful time and would definitely book this home again!

We really enjoyed our stay. Check in was seamless and efficient. The kitchen facilities were clean and well stocked with all the things you need to prepare a meal. The internet was great no issues. Everything we did was within minutes of the cabin and very accessible to everything, Overall was a great experience. I would highly recommend for your stay!

Great location! Nellie the bear seen frequently.

Beautiful cabin with tons of extras! Tons of dishes and cookware as well as everything you need to cook. Pots and pans could use a really good scrubbing as we had to scrap crud off of them before we could use them. Furniture needed to be swept under, but overall cabin was clean and beds were comfortable. We saw the neighborhood bear, Nellie as soon as we pulled into the driveway. We enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay here again in the future. Justin was very prompt in responding to any questions or concerns we had.

There were some initial issues with the WiFi and the hot tub was not operational (which the property manager had communicated in advance), but besides that, we had a great stay at the house. The location was fantastic and the house was definitely big!

Our team trip to Gatlinburg

The house was exactly how it was listed. Everything was great for our large group. It was close enough to enjoy all the fun activities Gailtinburg has to offer but still far enough away from the crowded areas. The owner Justin responded to any questions we had right away. We did see a couple of bears but they went away as soon as they heard us. Overal a great stay. We would definitely come back !

Great place for our big group

We had lots of spaces to sleep and eat and fellowship together. The cabin was clean and had great views. There were a couple of missing amenities (ice maker and hot tub were not working). A repair person came out to look and when they found it was not going to be a quick fix, we were given a generous partial refund.

Poor Management

One person got up the driveway after slipping and sliding. One had to call a tow truck, and the other four cars could not get up the driveway. We had to walk fully up the rocky hill of ice and snow. Two people fell. The driveway was a sheet of ice. I have pictures. The neighboring houses were all clear. We called the manager to ask if someone could come out and salt the driveway. He said, unfortunately, they could not. He sent me a phone number to a guy to see if he could come out. He said no, he was working. I called management back, and he said the best he could do was bring a bag of salt to us, but we would have to pour it on ourselves. This was a Bachelorette weekend. The hot tub was destroyed entirely; it looked like a bear had clawed the top off. There was no water in it. Only dirt and mud. It looked to be that way for a long time. I have pictures. I entered one of the bathrooms, and the toilet seat was disconnected. They sent someone out the next day to fix the toilet seat and drop off a bag of salt and a shovel for us to spread the ice. One of the bedroom doors would not pull, and it was busted. The bathroom ceiling on the bottom floor of the bedroom was leaking badly when someone showered in the bathroom above the one that was leaking. The dishwasher would not work. The blinds on the main floor were broken. TVs are messed up. We had to check out a day early. We did not feel safe.

BEST TIME WITH FAMILY

Our family meet in Gatlinburg for a family type reunion there was 20 of us in total and there was plenty of space every bedroom has a bathroom so that was awesome!!if you got a large group this place is perfect and you can be on the main drag in less than 10 mins and that’s driving and parking!! We love the Smoky Mountains didn’t want to come home!! We saw bears everyday! I’d give this place a 5star! Very close to perfect!!

Girls trip-2024

From beginning to end, our stay was amazing! Justin sent helpful information, offers, and was very helpful with any questions we had. This house was perfect and super close to downtown. We had so much fun enjoying our girl's trip. Will definitely be back. We even saw Nelly, the local black bear the first night we were there.

Lots of space

Great rental property for large groups. Seven bedrooms, seven full baths and two half baths. Great open layout in the kitchen and living room and dining room. Great entertainment area downstairs. Super clean property. Great host with great communication. Only negatives were the laminate floors around the kitchen island were loose and broken and needed to be replaced and were somewhat of a fall and trip hazard. The porch decks could use a cleaning. And there was a lot of trash around the property from the trash can bins that needed to be cleaned up. Overall a great place to stay, and would book again.

Safety concerns and personal damage + injuries

Overall decent but needs better management. Steep icy driveway which caused minor injuries, extra expense/ time spent clearing/ damage to vehicles. Had to carry luggage up an icy hill 75 yards. No salt or shovels available as told by host. Too much heat on 3rd floor and not enough on 1st. No hot water on 1st. Loose flooring in kitchen. Crockpot barely works. Insufficient bath linen. Broken floor broom. Kitchen drawers won’t stay shut. Missing knob on sauna tub timer. Fireplace gas log pilot light hard to light, should be left on! FILTHY outdoor grill and empty grease covered tank. Outdoor stairways should have snow screens, very icy and unsafe. Honestly, if I owned this, I would be highly upset my patron houseguests had to suffer the mismanagement of my property and the host should be ashamed of himself. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NOT BOOK AGAIN!

Perfect Getaway Spot-BEARS!!!!

The size and location was perfect for our large extended family! It was only about 1 mile from the main strip in Gatlinburg. We could see Anakeesta from our second floor porch! Maybe 2-3 miles from a large food city grocery store. Very handy location for everyone for everything we wanted to do! The property was all as advertised and the size and sleeping arrangements were perfect. The hot tub was not functional unfortunately and we were looking forward to that. It needs some attention to some items like the plumbing in some baths and some work on the laminate floors. And I would request more space for trash. In a house that large that can hold 26 people, a lot of trash is created and there was limited space to dispose of it. Lastly, some updated smart TV’s would be great but not a deal breaker. Just tough to keep up with multiple remotes! But definitely 4 out of 5 stars for the overall condition. 5 star overall for the trip though! Justin, the property manager I dealt with was amazing! He text information all hours of the day and on weekends and had no problem answering stupid questions. He Apologized numerous times for the inconvenience of the hot tub and even gave us some credit back and a discount to use in the future! All the BEARS was the best part! We got to see black bears all five days we were there! The kids absolutely loved it! Adults too! At one point we seen six different bears on the property at one time! And could view from a safe distance!

Staff business trip

Everything was as shown and as expected. Very nice cabin, with very nice, remote, quiet feel, while still a very close, short, easy drive into town (even bike-able or walkable in nice weather). Getting our visit by the bears was an awesome experience and highlight to the stay!
