A perfect little getaway
Pros: Check in was a breeze and the property is exactly as pictured! A very cute place to stay with a short walk to the beach. However if you'd rather drive, there's limited parking in the grass by the beach entrance. The outdoor shower was a life saver! It has a handheld shower head so it was really convenient. Not specified on the listing is the fact that the small bed has a trundle mattress in it so there's actually 4 beds total and there were plenty of linens for us to use. The kitchen is stocked with basic cookware, toaster, plates, mugs, Keurig and regular coffee pot. It was perfect for our brief beach escape!
Cons: We noticed a beach wagon and boogy boards in the lower level storage but it was not accessible. I messaged the host asking if that was supposed to be available to us but they never responded. The floor was gritty and there were 4 dead/dieing roaches so it didn't feel very clean at first. I know it's a "beach" house so sand should be expected, but it really seemed like the floor wasn't swept. I appreciated that the roaches weren't actively running around so at least they have good pest control addressing the issue. There were no instructions for checking out so that made me nervous. Some homes specify "Enjoy your vacation, there's no check out instructions". I think having something like that would put others minds at ease.
