Fun family stay

Great location, perfect for our family! House was stocked with beach necessities such as sand toys, wagon, boogie boards, and a volleyball. We just wish the weather cooperated! It was such a rainy few days so we didn't get to enjoy the beach much. Great location away from the busier downtown area. Definitely recommend!!

Cute House close to the Beach

I took my 3 kids to the beach for a “last weekend before school” getaway. This house was perfect for our family - the kids loved the cute little loft and bunk bed room. The whole house was cozy and had everything we needed. It was also very close to the beach, making it incredibly easy to get the kids to and from the house with toys, cooler, etc. We enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again!

The house was super cute. The location was great, just a short walk down the street to the beach. The outdoor shower was very helpful with keeping sand out of the house. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The hurricane was coming in, so we left a day earlier than planned. We would definitely stay here again!

GREAT HOUSE

House was very clean and cute. Very close to beach! The only issue we had was the mosquito problem. They were awful! The host was gracious enough to provide mosquito spray but even that did not keep them at bay. Other than that, the house was exactly as advertised. Wonderful!

Perfect for our family!

Perfect spot for our little family! Our 3 elementary-aged kids loved sharing the bunk bed guest room and made the loft into their "clubhouse" for the week. Far enough away from the main Galveston area to feel like we had a nice peaceful getaway, but still only 10 minutes away from shopping and stores. Property manager was very responsive to our needs during our stay. Definitely would stay here again if we're ever down in Galveston.

Get away weekend

My wife and I had a quick weekend retreat - celebrating our anniversary. We love the Pirates Beach neighborhood and this house was very cozy, quiet, and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great stay!

We took two of our grandchildren, both 4 year olds, for a quick trip to the beach. They enjoyed every minute! The beach was clean,quiet, and a very short walk. The house was a great size for the 4 of us. The bunk beds and loft were big hits. Check in was easy, and check out is one of the easiest we have experienced. Thank you for a memorable trip

Perfect for family beach vacation

Our family of four went to Galveston for five nights for our boys’ first beach vacation. We looked at many rental options, most being condos, but are so happy we went with this property. It was close proximity to the beach (maybe 3 minute walk even with a 4 year old) without any busy streets to cross. It was nice to not have to worry about sharing a wall or having other residents staying below or above us so that our boys could be kids without being disruptive. The house was clean and accommodating with plenty of towels, blankets, cookware/dishes. The loft was the perfect “clubhouse” for the kids, but as adults we didn’t try to venture up there. The outdoor area provided both fun and comfort, especially below the house where it was shaded with a nice breeze. The outdoor shower was convenient as was the washer and dryer, which was also a must for me. We were happy to see a wagon, beach chairs, and some body boards to make our beach time a little more fun and comfortable. We didn’t bring our own wagon because we considered renting a golf cart, but once we realized how close we were to the beach, a golf cart didn’t feel necessary. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your house to make these memories with our family.

This was the second time we’ve rented this property. We were just as happy this time as the first time we stayed here. Everything was clean and in good condition. We spent hours hanging out on the porch and the beach is just a short walk away. We love this property.

Perfect for our Little Family

We absolutely loved this house. It was perfect for our little family. We had everything we needed. We cooked all our meals in the house. The A/C and all appliances worked perfectly. We loved the porch and the area underneath the house for lounging and hanging out. The beach was a short walk away and it was not crowded at all. We will definitely be looking to stay at this property again in the future.

Best Ever!

We vacation in Galveston every summer and have stayed in all types of houses, both in town and on the West End. This house is perfectly located, walking distance to the Gulf, and possibly the cleanest place I have ever stayed. Modern and comfortable, well-stocked with kitchen stuff, bathroom stuff, furniture, beach stuff...everything! One bathroom can become an issue, but we went as a family and it worked out fine. Property management and owners are super to work with. All in all, A+++++++++!

Beautiful Property

This was our first time in this area of Texas. We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. It was exactly as pictured and all the conveniences needed. Easy access to the beach. Quiet cul-de-sac. Plenty of relaxing areas to read or just enjoy the breeze. The Host, Melinda, was so thoughtful and readily accessible. Melinda made our 40th anniversary special. We will definitely be back.
