Immaculate, comfortable, relaxing

Comfortable, relaxing, quiet, convenient to High Island and Boulevar Flats, could walk to beach. Comfortable beds, couches, huge TV in living area, comfortable couch outside on wonderful deck. Very nice washer and dryer. Never seen a better stocked kitchen. Everything we needed was there and more.and more we needed.

Beautiful Home, Close to the Beach

Stayed the weekend with some friends, to be close by my son after Prom. Place was perfect, clean, and beautiful. Corn hole boards were perfect for our quick stay. House was fully stocked with anything you may need. Has plenty of room. Would definitely stay here again.

A family tradition

Every year we go to the beach for my nephews birthday and this year we booked a cabin a little early but I knew it would be spring break and wanted a decent one. Whale of a tale was a beautiful home! Spacious and perfect for my family and my parents to stay for the extended weekend! The owners had great communication and the home was stocked very well!! We loved the assortment of toys and chairs and options for just hanging out!

Great cozy house

The house is very nice and comfortable. We will definitely be back. It has everything you need for a great weekend. Just a short walk from the beach. The host is awesome too. The couch in the living room is way too comfy, so don’t lay down if your not ready to fall asleep!

Wonderful Stay at Crystal Beach

The house is spacious, very clean, well maintained, and well stocked. The location is a short walk to the beach and short drive to dining and shopping. Our original booking had to change dates due to a hurricane. Art kept us informed and set up new dates for us. Great experience! We will book, again.

Love this place!

This is my 5th time staying in Crystal Beach and this is the absolute cutest house! Perfect location, and super easy access to the beach. The house is super clean and has tons of amenities. The owner is super sweet and is very helpful. 10/10 would recommend and I would definitely stay here again!

Grandpa's Beach Camp

Everything you could want in a beach house rental, plus there were kids beach toys and boogie boards. The upper deck is great for your morning coffee, and there is a conventional coffee pot and a Kuric, filters but bring your own coffee and pods. The down stairs patio area is cool even on a hot day. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. You can walk to the beach and a wagon, chairs, and umbrella are provided. I opted to take my truck and a pop up tent for the kids, just buy a beach permit at one of the stores. I hauled in Groceries but then discovered the Big Store about a mile down the street is has most everthing including Hunt Brothers Pizza, Stingaree is just down the road a mile or so. It was great and the kids had a blast. I'll be back.

Wonderful Place!

We took our teenage son and his friend down to the beach for President’s Day long weekend which also happened to be the second weekend of Mardi Gras. From the ease of checking in to one of the best VRBO we’ve stayed at over the past 15 years, we love this place! They have everything you need. They were very responsive and super nice to deal with. The couches and beds were comfortable. The kitchen well stocked with everything to cook meals. Great location! We loved it so much we tried to book it again for Spring Break, but they were already booked. We’ll definitely be back.

The house was exactly as shown on the website. It was amazing, clean and the owner was extremely helpful. There was lots of essentials that we didn't even think of and beach needs for us to use. We lost electricity due to unforseen circumstances, emergency power outage in the town, and he was very quick in informing us what was happening. Offered to get us things if needed as well. The whole entire stay and check in/out process was a breeze to say the least. We will definitely be coming back in the future. We loved and enjoyed it!

LOVED this house. So pleasant. The layout of the house is perfect. It was super nice, clean, and modern. Everything well kept. We will definitely be back. We had an issue with the WiFi on our second day, and the owner was working on it within minutes. Would definitely recommend.

Great trip and great house!

The house was spacious for our extended family trip. Clean, plenty of room, and close enough to the beach to walk. Fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed to cook throughout our stay. Would definitely come back!

Great vacation spot

Beautiful beach home fantastically laid out. The neighborhood was nice and quiet for the most part. I enjoyed the sound of frogs and crickets at night having the home close to open water spots. We had storms roll thru while we were there and it knocked out the power. The owner notified me quickly to make sure everything was ok, and gave me an estimated time as to when the electricity was to come back on. He then notified me again after the electricity came on and talked me thru how to reset the wifi. It had everything we needed. The only negative I have is that there is absolutely no view of the beach, but once again... the home and neighborhood made up for it.

Fantastic place to stay!

Our stay was amazing! House is beautiful and so nicely decorated! The beach was just a short walk away and the wagon the left with chairs and the beach towels were just perfect for our picnic on the beach. The” big store “ is just a short drive away, I think about a mile, and it has anything you would ever need. We would definitely recommend and would come back ourselves!

Whale fo a Tale

We had a very pleaseant stay at (Whale of a Tale) beach house @ Crystal Beach. The location was just about perfect , It's located in a quiet familiy oriented nieghborhood a couple of blocks to the beach access, and just a short drive will put you just about anywhere in Crystal Beach. The property was exactly as presented on the VRBO website . It is very clean, organized, and well maintained inside and out. The ground level exterior is set-up very well for outdoor cooking & diining on covered picnic tables ; and, has good water facilities for general beach clean-up! The upper deck level is layed-out very well for sunning & lounging on deck chairs and a modular wicker sectional w/ cushions that are very comfortable with plenty of room to move around on the deck. The house interior is nice & roomy and decorated with quiant beach decor throughout. (not cluttered).. The kitchen /dining/ living areas are designed in an open format that works! (the areas feel large and flow very well). The bedrooms' are are sized right and set-up perfectly for a good nights sleep (Pently of room to move around / not crammped). Lastly, the owners put allot of thought into what a renter would want or need to live-in & enjoy this space for a nice relaxing vacation @ the beach (Literally every ammenity we could think of that we would need for the kitchen, bathroom, and washer & dryer areas was provided and ready to be used). We throughly enjoyed our stay at the beach house and greatly appreciate the efforts of the owners to make our stay pleasurable . We highly recommend (The Whale of a Tale ) to anyone looking for a realy nice and convienet place to stay @ Crystal Beach. Thank You, George & Connie
